Protactx allowed me to drop in to train while I was on a mini vacation in the area. Everyone was welcoming, helped me with the moves, and helped me with learning an escape after one of my rolls. I've been training at this Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school for the past 9 months, and it has been an incredible experience. The environment is welcoming and supportive, with professors and coaches who are not only highly skilled but also genuinely invested in each student's growth. The family atmosphere makes it a safe and encouraging place to learn. The curriculum is top-notch, offering a perfect balance of technique, strategy, and physical conditioning. The people here are amazing – tough, smart training partners who push you to be your best. I recently competed in my first tournament, and over 30 people from the academy showed up to support us. Four of us came back with medals, a testament to the quality of instruction and the strong sense of community here. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking to train in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, self defense, striking and so much more.

Professor Danny and Professor Mark are two of best BJJ teaches I have ever met. They take time to ensure you understand every move and get repetition before you move onto the next. The classes are timed right so you get enough without staying there for 2+ hours. My son and I both go there, he is 9 years old. I have seen his confidence grow since attending classes and has been able to interact with kids his own age. Highly recommend you come check out a class!

This is long so bear with me.... Nearly my whole family goes here! We love it! The classes are amazing and teach a great blend of traditional BJJ as well as self defense. All the instructors are extremely friendly and do a great job of giving each student attention and support. What REALLY sets this place apart though is the atmosphere and community. Everyone (students and instructors) cheer on the new students and make them feel welcome. They say it's a family BJJ gym and it's 100% true! The instructors are amazing with the younger students AND their siblings! Lots of families have parents and kids going to classes. Kids are welcome to hang out and play together while their parents go to class. They even have toys, a toddler table and window chalk markers for rhe kids to play with! And that's before even mentioning the women's self defense class, womens-only BJJ class, kids night out, holiday parties etc! Great place for the whole family.

This is such a fantastic gym all-around! I just finished my second women's self defense class with them, and signed up for Jiujitsu right away. The instructors are great and there is a fantastic environment; it feels like a family.

My family and I are new to the world of BJJ. So we wanted to find a gym where my boys wouldn’t feel intimidated and would be comfortable as they learn to become empowered. I can say hands down from the moment my husband met with Danny, to the first class my son attended, Protactx has been amazing and positive. The professors and coaches truly want to see you learn and build on the methods of BJJ. They believe in teamwork and building each other up. Eight months later, my entire family to include myself participates in Protactx classes! Protactx is a family BJJ gym where you will enjoy the professors and other member’s because of how welcoming everyone is. Plus the major benefit of learning how to protect yourself.

Our family moved to this gym from another gym. We now drive past that gym to come here, because it is worth the drive! Our family loves coming here and attending classes because of the positive energy and family feel. Everyone is very welcoming and there is great communication so you always feel plugged in to what’s going on. It really has become a second home for us. My husband attends the adult classes, my 7 yo attends the kids classes, and I recently completed the women’s self defense course which was empowering and beneficial. I’m looking forward to attending another round of classes to improve my skills. Highly recommend!

We have been to other BJJ gyms and this gym is hands down the best gym around! It truly feels like a family! Positive environment, no drama and my kids never want to miss a class. My entire family trains here and my kids are excelling faster than they did at our old gym. The coaches are humble, professional, respectful and amazing with the kids and adults. I can’t put into words how grateful we are to have found this gym!
