Every summer, our family stops at Mazadar Mediterranean Kitchen on our way home from Lake George, and it’s become a tradition. The food is always fresh and delicious, the prices are fair, and Mahmood is one of the kindest and most welcoming owners you’ll meet. There’s plenty of parking, and it’s the perfect place to relax before the drive home. If you’re in the Albany area and looking for great Mediterranean food, I highly recommend Mazadar!

I randomly decided to give this place a try, and I’m so glad I did. The food was fresh, flavorful, and definitely worth the wait since it’s made to order. The wait wasn’t long at all, and the customer service was great. The white sauce was honestly one of my favorite parts. Normally white sauce gives me acid reflux, so I usually avoid it, but for some reason theirs didn’t, and it tasted so good. The food was so good that I went back a few days later and ordered the exact same meal. The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are good too. I’ll definitely be back again.

This place is absolutely amazing! This was the best Mediterranean food I’ve had in my life! The prices are very fair and you won’t leave here hungry. If you’re in the area I highly recommend stopping here.

The best quick Mediterranean/Afghan food I had in this area. We got the roasted lamb shank and was absolutely perfectly cooked, fall of the bones. Their white sauce is great, not the industrialized version some places offer. Finally the banjan borani was served warm with warm bread! Perfectly seasoned, not to much of anything! Will be back again and adding to my list for delivery too!

This place is legit, everything was made very well, it's certified Halal! Everything was fresh and the taste popped, the array of sauces was great! The place itself is pretty spacious for a place in a plaza and prices are fair market average. Portions were also very fair! Was a great dinner choice for a post hike meal!May have been a little understaffed, but the amount of dishes hanging on the trash made it a tad difficult to put our dishes away. Not that I'd drop a star over that.

The chicken kabab was really good and flavorful. The beef kabab was decent but not quite up to the mark compared to other Afghan kabab places I’ve tried. The sauce could also be improved. Still, the service was good and the overall experience was pleasant.

Ordered pickup. Person on register helped clear up questions about which sauces were vegan. The food was good, but nothing amazing. The falafel wrap was partially open-face so it was a tad messy. The rice in the falafel platter was delicious but make sure to use plenty of the sauces because the falafel was a tad dry.
