This was a long overdue review but we had an absolutely amazing time working with Guy Israel and his crew to replace our roof last year. Amongst all the contractors we reviewed, Guy was the most professional and thorough - he not only explained the whole re-roofing process with his prototype, but he also took extensive photos of our roof via his drone to give the exact estimate (which no other contractor did either). He also went to all the houses we liked to understand what kind of roof we wanted.Additionally his crew was always on time and diligent in their work - they made sure that it was safe for us to move in and out of the house while they were working and left the place spectacularly clean at the end of every day.Guy was prompt in his communication at all times and even pre-poned the work a little bit to get the roof completed before it rained (and trust me ours was a huge and steep roof!)I cannot recommend them enough for all the work they did and how amazing the house looks afterwards - hire them. You wont regret it!

I never leave reviews but unfortunately had a really bad experience with Apollo. I'm a tenant in a building that had its roof replaced this past fall with Apollo. The first storm that hit after that, we immediately had a big leak (no previous leaks before they replaced the roof).The company did a good job repairing their mistake within the next couple weeks, but our mattress was soaked from the leak in the process. Every resource i've seen online that if a) a mattress is soaked thru for 24 hrs+ and b) if it's water from roof/outside, that it has large potential for mold issues in the future. Apollo sent a rep to look at the mattress (now over a month after the leak) and tell us that "the mattress is fine" and they refuse to replace it.Really disappointed that this was due to a mistake in their roofing and that they aren't willing to pay for a mattress or compensate us for the damage. After all, if our mattress hadn't soaked up all the water, there could have been floor issues from the amount of water. Hope no one else has this situation with them.

The roof repair crew arrived much later than scheduled and didn’t inform me ahead of time. The work seemed rushed, and the final result looked uneven and poorly finished. I expected better workmanship for the price I paid.

We just finished up a project working with Daniel Dahan. We’ve had a mystery leak and unlike other estimates I got, Daniel performed a thorough water test to rule out issues and make a plan for repair. Estimate was fair for the job, work was completed in one day and offered follow up if any issues arose. There was a wait for the project to get started but it’s rainy season so that was expected. I’ll be reaching out to Daniel and going with Apollo for future roofing needs. Thanks again Daniel!

Cannot recommend Apollo Roofing more! We discovered a leak during the winter rain and realized it was time for a full roof replacement. After meeting with several companies, the decision to go with Apollo was extremely easy. They are reasonably priced compared to others, however what really sold us was their attention to detail. The project manager Daniel Dahan, was fantastic and pointed out several areas of improvement that none of the other companies proposed. He even personally sealed the original leak to keep water out before the project started. The team was extremely efficient and knocked out our 2000+ square foot shingle/torchdown job in 3 days. Daniel was always available for calls and texts to provide updates and walk me through all questions I had. We are so happy with the final product, and would highly recommend Apollo to anyone looking for quality roof work!!

I'd recommend anyone to get their roof done by Apollo. They are honorable people. It was a challenging time for us as we were told our insurance was going to be cancelled because we had a cedar shake roof and we live in Los Gatos where there is more fire risk. Guy came and suggested this cement tile that looks very much like cedar shake and has an A fire rating. I had researched for months looking at everything on the internet about products that looked like Cedar shake. We have a French Tudor style house and all the options and sample we were sent looked nothing like Cedar shake. Guy's suggestion looks amazing on our house. Apollo took care of us and made sure everything was perfect. I know if we had gone with others it would not have been handled as well. Apollo are people of integrity and would be q very wise choice. They are also a wonderful value.

Sagi and his team did an incredible job with our new standing seam roof. Apollo was the lowest bid despite (or maybe because of) having the most standing seam experience. The Apollo team navigated an overcomplicated Piedmont design review process and then quickly and efficiently installed a beautiful, modern, and clean roof on our less-than straightforward, multi-pitched house. Communication was superb throughout. Highly recommended.

Sagi at Apollo was great in explaining the options for a new roof that was not the traditional tar and gravel. We chose the 3- layerpetroleum based, rolled laminated roof with a top coat of white imbedded gravel. it was the correct choice giving the roof a clean, refreshed surface, more reflective of the sun and it comes with a twenty year warranty. The roofing crew were very organized and efficient completing the roof in two days and adding new steel flashing around the perimeter of there roof. And at my request, they installed a vent for the attic crawl space. They also replaced the worn tar paper lining the sloping tile parapet in front of the roof with the laminate.When we experienced our first hot day of the year in San Francisco this week, we noticed the house was several degrees cooler inside with the new roof and the new vent.

Due to a pesky squirrel that was nesting beneath our roofing tiles, we reached out a few roofing companies to give us a quote on lifting the tiles, identifying and repairing any damage, and reinstalling the titles. Matti from Apollo was great. He came out to investigate and provide an estimate, and he was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. While Apollo was not the lowest quote, the quote was very competitive, and they definitely struck me as the most professional and motivated of the hard dozen or so that we contacted for estimates. The team of roofers that came to do the work was prompt and diligent, and Matti was in constant contact through the project. We had a few follow up questions and concerns, and Matti was great in addressing all them to our satisfaction. We were very pleased with Apollo’s work.

In fact, his professionalism during our initial meeting was what won us over in the first place!Apollo wasn’t the cheapest quote we received, but their pricing was clear, and still competitive. We also valued how thoroughly Chaim explained every step, from material choices to permitting, inspections, timelines, and invoicing.We had them install a torched-down CertainTeed roof system, and Chaim walked us through the material choices, pros/cons, and what to expect during the installation. The team was respectful of our property, taking real care to avoid damage to our garden and surroundings, as well as performed a daily cleanup. Nonetheless, there were a few unintentional interior damages during the work, but they went above and beyond to make things right (including promptly addressing requests from the city inspector).If I had to point out one area for improvement, it would be that the project started about a month later than expected, and the communication around the delay could have been better. That said, once the work began, they moved efficiently and on schedule.
