April is the epitome of professional makeup artist. She arrived to our photo shoot early, well organized and prepared. We briefly discussed the aesthetic vision for the shoot and she communicated the workflow clearly so we could be efficient with each look and our time. Her work was clean and distinctive. I looked like me, but upgraded and I felt great! Everything from the skin prep to lash application was done with great care and attention to detail. Throughout the shoot, she was present not only to make sure my face wasn’t too oily or sweaty, but she even took some amazing behind the scenes footage which, in my mind was above and beyond the call of duty. I will also say that she only recorded with consent and she was excellent with communication and thoughtfully checked in with me to make sure I was comfortable and that everything she did was consistent with the vision we discussed.
