Last week on a whim, I walked into YLF Cosmetology Institute hoping to get a manicure. I was greeted promptly and admired the stylish, ultra clean environment. I was immediately seated with a sweet young woman named Peyton, who did a wonderful job on my gel manicure. I am picky on how I like my nails shaped and she allowed me to show her on one nail and she nailed it on the rest. Also, excellent cuticle work. Very affordable, I highly recommend their services and am looking forward to having a facial in the next few days. Give them a try! Less

Called for a last minute makeup session and was wowed by everything. As a “non-makeup” person, I was cynical that I’d get a look that I’d be physically and mentally uncomfortable in, but Ronda quickly put me at ease. She listened to all of my concerns about style and took into consideration the variety of my evening plans and gave me something so much better than I had expected. She took the time to answer any questions I had about the process and consistently checked in with me to make sure I liked the direction she took. Two other students were there (Bri and another lady who’s name I’m sorry I don’t remember) as well as the instructor who all gave recommendations when I was being indecisive and just generally had great energy. One of my biggest concerns was that my makeup would last the 9-10 hours of the long evening ahead, and the results could’ve lasted so much longer. I was so sad to take it off at the end of the night! I felt gorgeous specifically as the result of this makeup. I will definitely come back to YLF as a customer and also seek out makeup services from Ronda again! Less

I cannot recommend YLF or the ladies there enough! Rachel & Ms. Connie listened to my concerns and made sure that I was comfortable with what they were doing but also that my hair was going to be treated safely. I was nervous about going darker but between the two of them I left feeling more confident then I have in a long time. Now that I’ve lived with my hair for a few days I cannot believe that I waited so long to make this change. I LOVE what Rachel did with my cut!! My hair is healthier than it has been in MONTHS!!! And the color is rich & bold!!!! I love it!!! And special thanks to Bri and Ms. Connie for staying late so Bri could finish applying lashes on me. She’s got the best personality. Put me completely at ease while working on such a delicate area. I left YLF feeeling fabulous and like a completely new, confident woman!!! I look forward to my next visit!! Less
