This was our second trip with Captain Ken and Joys of Nature this year, and once again, we had an absolute blast! There’s a reason we came back for another trip so soon. Captain Ken is incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and always works hard to put us on fish. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does. Both trips this year have been awesome, and we’ve made some great memories out on the water. If you’re looking for a fishing charter, we can’t recommend Captain Ken and Joys of Nature enough. Two trips this year and already looking forward to the next one!

I was in Coloma for vacation and wanted to lake fish so found and contacted Ken and he quickly replied and we set up time to fish 1/2 day on Paw Paw Lake. It was excellent. He knows the area really well and is a real fisherman. I learned a lot and we caught an 8lb walleye. Had a great time. Will be contacting him next time I’m in town to go fish St Joe River.

I can’t say enough about Captain Ken! He took our family out on the Saint Joseph River today and we had an amazing time! He was so patient with our kids and knew all the great spots! We even saw a bald eagle and a great blue Herron! We will definitely book another charter with Ken when we vacation here in the future!

Outstanding time on the water! We caught all kinds of fish, saw a number of different birds, and got on the lake for a bit. Captain Ken was very knowledgeable, and super helpful. I would highly recommend a day on the water with Ken!

CaptainKen made our outing so much fun and educational. He knew all about the ecology of the water environment and freely explained various points of interest. He made the trip a lot of fun. I would go on another one of his boating adventures without hesitation.

What a blast the wife and I had on joys of Nature Charters!!! Ken is not only a great captain and knows his fishing spots but also is a pretty funny guy with some great stories to tell! We caught so many fish my shoulders were sore when we got to shore! catch and release a few different species even got to keep a few! On top of it all he even cleaned the fish we kept. 10/10 recommend!!! A GREAT time guaranteed 100%!! Great prices, good for a date night or bring the family, amazing vibes, great conversations, he even had snacks lol!! 1000% going again soon!

We took our family out for a nature tour on St. Joe river. We loved it! Captain Ken pointed out eagles, all kinds of wildlife and interesting things along the way. I would 💯 recommend and will be booking again.
