Despite having one major and one minor water disaster that developed mold, they were encouraging throughout the process and kept me up to date and made the situation we were in a little more bearable. I went with them because they were mold and lyme literate about mold remediation and testing and did the process correctly and thoroughly, because they used natural nontoxic products and because they clean your house and belongings to help with mycotoxin issues that regular conventional mold companies miss. By targeting the mycotoxins that make people sick, i feel like our house is healthier before and love having a warranty. We had a great experience with American Mold Experts (AME). We discovered a major mold issue in our house a few months after having our first baby, which sent me into a lot of research and stress. I talked to many companies, but Scott at AME was more knowledgeable about mold and mycotoxin remediation than anyone else I talked to. He made himself available for all of my questions, showed genuine concern for my situation, and supported my family through a very stressful and scary time. AME remediated our entire home and all of our belongings with a natural enzyme-based product. Their pricing was reasonable - better than other quotes I received from competitors. They were very thorough, and were able to restore my home to a safe condition. My family is safe and healthy, and I would definitely recommend AME to anyone with a mold problem.

American Mold Experts came to my rescue when I fell victim to a design flaw in my car. Drains were not properly doing their job so I had water leaking in my trunk carpet which led to mold. My boyfriend came across AME online and spoke with the owner who was attentive, responsive, and a wonderful guide every step of the way in the process. I had a very strange and unique situation where the entire contents of my car were removed and needed to be remediated piece by piece and they were so understanding and accommodating to the circumstances that I'm sure were not super fun to work with! I met with the professional who actually handled my remediation when dropping off the car and all the contents and she was so kind and helpful. She explained exactly what they would do and how it would correct my mold problem. They communicated efficiently and got the job done in less than 48 hours! The team worked hard and did a good job to complete their evaluation and remediation within my short timeframe. Their technician actually worked the evening shift 2 days. - including a Saturday - to get the job done in time for my closing.The local tech, Ryan, was courteous and seemed to do a thorough job.The reason I did not give a “5” rating was due to their billing process. They expected full payment before or on day 1 before the work was actually completed. This worried me because I never pay in full upfront before a job is done. I was actually scared they would take my money and run, but thankfully, this was not the case.Communications were decent, and a little looser…texting quite a bit, than I’d like, but that’s just me.We sold the house 2 days after the work was completed, so I can’t guarantee they fixed the problem, but I have no reason to believe they did not. Their explanation about the remediation process was thorough, and they seemed quite knowledgeable.Would I recommend them? Yes. I’d actually give them a 4.5 rating if that were an option.Was their price fair? I don’t know because I didn’t have time to chase multiple estimates.due to my time constraints. I selected them because they had decent ratings on Angi. But they didn’t appear to be accredited by the BBB, which, in hindsight, added to my unnecessary worries.

I had a flood into my house and I tried calling many other companies but all they were going to do is tare out drywall, dry out the place and that’s all. What about the mold?
