Tony is phenomenal. I’ve had much work done over the years. Root canals, crowns, implants but it seemed almost every dentist cleaning visit 2x per year ( before meeting Tony ) was bad news. I’m was and am a religious night guard wearer too! Tony accessed the my bite wasn’t even. He worked on making adjustments so all my teeth contacted evenly. Made me a new night guard and now after 15 years I go to the dentist and hear great news and just a cleaning.I HIGHLY recommend Tony. He’s not only saved me thousands in dental work but now I don’t dread a dental visit.

Highly recommend Tony Kim and his outstanding staff. I had a tooth that was bothering me - but being a busy person - I put off fixing it until it demanded my attention. Dr. Kim was able to fit me in quickly for X-rays, cleaning and tooth repair. The cavity was severe. Other dentists I’ve seen probably would have jumped to a costly and painful repair (root canal) but not Dr. Kim. He said he’d do his best to repair it. He and his staff were very kind and attentive. I’ve had horrible experiences with other dentists in the past and I can honestly say that he has gained my trust and continued patronage. Days after the repair I’m happy to report that my tooth looks and feels great! The entire experience was efficient, gentle and professional. There’s even secured parking and a clean, spa-like waiting room. I highly recommend Tony Kim and his diligent staff. I’ll see you there!

Who loves dentists? Certainly, I didn’t, growing up, and up until I landed at Dr. Kim’s dental chair. I was in pain, desperately in search of relief & solutions. Since I didn’t like dentists & feared them, I never ask, never questioned procedures, heck, most dentists don’t go out of their way to tell you their game plan anyway, discuss long term effects, etc. My prejudice about dentists slowly turned a 360° After a series of consults with Dr. Kim. He was very patient with me, took time to explain options and knows very well that the teeth is very much connected to the rest of the body and its symptoms of pain may reflect the overall health of the person. His practice is holistic and is knowledgeable as well on topics such as food, effective probiotics, chiropractic care, etc! His staff is very caring & friendly, we feel welcomed and at home each visit. You will never feel hurried, that you gotta get out the door even when there are patients waiting to be seen.I live in Makakilo but I travel thru H-1 traffic to get (to Kahala) dental care from Dr. Kim. I absolutely love Dr. Kim and his amazing staff. Along with himself, Gigi and Soledad the three of them together making coming to their office a pleasant one. Full of laughter and smiles, seeing them really never gets old. What I believe makes their office different from others is the chemistry that they all have between them which makes working with each other much easier and patients really notice that.I've had my fair share of doctors and Dr. Kim really goes above an beyond to explain to you your treatment of care. Many times I've sat in that dental chair, had work done, and after everything was completed was sent on my way. But with Dr. Kim he stopped numerous times throughout every procedure checking in on me making sure I was okay, and at the end of it all he explained everything that he did that day making sure I understood what was done and what needs to happen from there.

You only get one set of teeth (two if you include your baby set), but my point is you must take care of them! What I appreciate the most about Dr. Kim is his holistic approach. Before suggesting any type of operation or procedure, he thoroughly inspects your mouth and gives suggestions on how YOU would like to approach things. His staff is super friendly and attentive. I've been to a several dental offices on island and his location is definitely the cleanest and Dr. Kim is very knowledgable. Come prepared with questions (or concerns) and he'll dive deep with you to settle all your worries.
