Came here on our 1 year anniversary and it was amazing ! The lady at the front desk was so friendly and approachable x the jacuzzi and sauna was insane … cheap and so worth it x

What a great place to stay. We had a spacious room with all the kitchen amenities and a really nice bathroom.Breakfast was delicious. Eggs, bacon, sausage cooked to order. Fruits, yogurt, orange juice, cereal, etc..Excellent location within an easy walking distance of so much in central York.We look forward to staying here again!

What a great place to stay. Warm friendly people. Christina, our breakfast waitress was outstanding! And breakfast was excellent. We each had the same thing the second day because it was so good the first day. A wide variety of offerings in a beautiful setting. Our room was great. We really appreciated that oven, the microwave, the hot pot, etc. The bathroom was spacious and the shower worked well. The back garden area was an excellent place to sit and enjoy the beautiful sunshine we had, even if the weather was a little cool. We look forward to returning and staying here again. And hopefully bringing some friends with us. It was an easy walk to the shambles to the railroad museum and all kinds of other places.

Exactly what i needed on a whirlwind business trip. Bed was super comfortable and shower was top class. I was in late and out early, so no time to experience beyond that, but staff very friendly and accommodating.

😀 - Central location with parking; great staff; bed was exceptionally comfortable 😞 - Rooms could do with a lick of paint; room too hot, heating was still on at 11pm. No hair conditioner in the bathroom

😀 - Lovely place to stay and close to everything. Staff really friendly, spa facilities were really good and staff explained everything thoroughly and checked everything was ok when using the sauna, cold water plunge and hot tub. Would highly recommend and can't wait to stay again.

Situated a few minutes walk from York Minister. This is a lovely family run hotel and with parking. It has a number of facilities for health and wellbeing that I couldn't use on this trip. the room was large and had a desk/dressing table which was useful for my business meeting preparation and follow up notes and actions. The bathroom is much larger than you get in many hotels and the decor standard is very good and spotlessly clean. There is a relaxed atmosphere which comes from attention to detail on all aspects of service. The bar area can be a little loud when plenty of people are in it but it doesn't permeate to other parts of the hotel. As for value with Airbnb's being similarly priced but with out a breakfast included nor having the other facilities for health and wellbeing this hotel is very good value. I look forward to my next visit

😀 - Fantastic location, just a short walk to the city centre. Friendly, helpful staff. Bedroom/bathroom lovely and clean. Bed was extra comfortable!
