Here’s my review 1 year after install. Rise Up did a wonderful job and upgrade to my furnace and hot water heater. Jim and Brian had to work in a tight space. They replaced the furnace, upgrading the furnace efficiency, two stage motor, and very important the filter box, and the hot water heater. I noticed the new furnace doesn’t work as hard, functions smoother, and quieter. The filter box and filter are awesome. They were able to modify the duct and install a 5” deep filter. Not even a year after purchasing my townhouse (built in 1978) the AC stopped working in the middle of the hottest part of the summer. After contacting some of the big companies and getting very expensive quotes for the most basic (non-high efficiency) replacement units, a couple of friends recommended Jim. I gave him a call and he came out immediately, quoted me on a couple of budget-friendly options and had the new equipment delivered the next day. His team had the new high efficiency AC installed and working by the end of the week! They also cleaned out the ducts/vents and helped connect us with another contractor to put our basement back together (there was quite a bit of demo that needed to be done to remove the old HVAC stuff and get the high efficiency units installed correctly). Jim and team also identified and fixed some other unrelated things (dryer vent, water heater vent, half bath vent, the list goes on..) that were not up to code that the home inspector completely missed months before. Yesterday we were having difficulty getting our heat to turn on for the first time and reached out to Jim about it. He had Walt come out the first thing this morning and an hour later it feels like a sauna (in a VERY good way!) in our home!
