I am a current 8 month employee and this has been the best change that I have made for myself (career wise). I am so used to working in fast pace environments with little communication and almost pure chaos. Safe Harbor Home Care is completely opposite. Working here has felt as if it has rewired my nervous system in a way. My hours fit my lifestyle perfectly for me. Not only am I able to work my full time hours at my job, I have my hours allocated to support my grandmother who has dementia. This company understands that we all have lives too and family members that we also support personally. This matters so much. When configuring a work schedule, I no longer stress when I have to reach out to my boss or my schedulers for any thing. For example, in January, my grandfather passed, and despite it all, this company ensured that my schedule was taken care of and that I would not have to stress about "being in trouble" because I could not make it to a shift. I feel so supported. Leslie, our HR rep, and Renee, our recruiter, a dynamic duo that ensures that we have all the resources that we need to succeed. I am truly thankful to every scheduler- every time you call you speak to someone who is kind and ready to help. I have the best clients as well. They are all unique and each week I have the pleasure of being a grand support assistant. We work together, all of us even the clients, to ensure the best of care and anything can be accomplished when you work together. I truly love my job. Thank you all so much for all that you do.

I went through a lot of temporary caregivers until I found Beinna, who I was with for nine months, until she moved away.Now I have Mildred, who has been with me about 6 months. I’m a current employee of almost 8 months and this is the best agency i’ve worked for by far. The hours are great, they’ll match you up with a client (or multiple) that fit within your schedule and they pay well. Our HR rep Leslie is the coolest, sweetest person ever. She actually helped me move into my new apartment with the resources I had no idea about prior to her. The company is very understanding and really works with you. I had a caregiver named Eric who is the best caregiver I’ve had from any company. He was a perfect example of what a caregiver is supposed to be like, asking me if I’m ok, keeping a watch on me, and when I wake up from a nap he’s there. He keeps the house clean and just started taking me on walks which is what I need. He’s gotten me independent in the shower and he is a clean cut man who always looks good. I recommend this company because I’ve had a great experience!

This company has provided really high quality caregivers every time I have used them with my patients. I am an practicing occupational therapist and recommended Safe Harbor a lot for their family members who need additional help caring for their love ones. This company has caregivers of all skillsets and they all work at varying hours of need too which is a plus. Getting started is really quick and simple as well, Jesse does a really good job understanding the care and needs of my patients and any issues that do occur, he gets it resolved in a timely manner. Overall, I will keep recommending this company for anyone who needs additional assistance.

We brought my father home from an extended stay in the hospital and then a rehab facility under Seaport Home Health & Hospice -- initially under home health care, and then quickly transitioning to hospice care. Absolutely everybody -- from our case manager Lisa to the home health aide to the other nurses to the telephone receptionist -- were extraordinary across the board, from their professionalism to their knowledge and in particular thru their compassion. Easily the most challenging period that my family has ever gone thru, and there was never even a moment where any Seaport Home Health & Hospice added even a hint of unnecessary stress to the process. My dad's final days went as smoothly as we could ever have hoped for and he is now at peace, and my mom, my brother, and I will forever be in the debt of all of our fantastic caregivers at Seaport.
