I had a couple of trouble spots on my roof, dead valleys, that made it high maintenance. I had to clean leaves from those cavities every fall and whenever it snowed. I consulted friends familiar with construction, and the consensus was that this was a design flaw. The ideal solution would be to change the roof’s geometry to eliminate the dead valleys.I called five roofing companies. Four suggested covering the trouble spots with a TPO membrane. Besides looking unattractive, that solution didn’t seem right since it didn’t address the root cause. Only Ruben (A+ Roofing) immediately suggested building a cricket after inspecting the roof. That’s why I chose him.My impression is that most roofing companies aren’t comfortable doing anything beyond standard roofing, so they hesitated to propose alternatives to the membrane. Ruben, however, had prior framing experience and was completely comfortable changing the roof’s geometry. I would definitely recommend him, especially if you have a complicated roofing issue.In addition to fixing those two trouble spots, he and his crew replaced the shingles on the entire roof. He also gave me recommendations on which shingles to choose, and I went with Owens Corning Duration. The roof looks beautiful, and now I can enjoy the snow season without having to climb up and clean it.

His dedication to the job was outstanding and his willingness to work with the customer. (side note) knows a lot about Mexican cooking.

Ruben and his crew did an A+ job reroofing my manufactured home. His estimate was reasonable and close to other company estimates but his included replacing my old skylight with a new energy efficient skylight (the others did not include one).I'm very happy with the new skylight and the entire job they did. Ruben found a few areas that needed repairs. He did the repairs himself, took his time and did it with excellent craftsmanship. He also felt I did not have an adequate number off roof vents so he added more. Even with the extra repairs needed to be done and the extra vents, the final cost was exactly what he quoted me before. He ensures the work meets or exceeds code requirements and insures the finished product will easily pass inspection. I highly recommend A+, they do the job right and with great craftsmanship. Discovered a minor leak coming from an exhaust vent and called this company based on past reviews. Spoke with Noe and he explained what was ghost likely going on. Called Ruben about a roof leak. When he showed up, he recommended that I call the original roofing company because he didn’t want me to have to spend the money because it should still be under warranty. However, the roofing company who did my roof, couldn’t even schedule to come out for 2 weeks to give an estimate. Ruben was absolutely professional, fast, and provided above quality same day work for a reasonable price. Additionally, our home was built by dream builders, which the builder Aaron told me the roof was only a 5-year warranty. Just an FYI. I’ve never heard of such a warranty for a roof, and neither had any of the other companies including A+. So grateful for Ruben’s help.

TLDR: The work was done correctly, promptly, and professionally.We had to get our roof replaced after one of the infamous tri-cities wind storms. Ruben worked very well with our insurance company and kept his quote within what the insurance would pay. We found extra things that had to be replaced and he was helpful when looking at different options for the replacement. His guys were clean, with clean language and very polite and respectful. Ruben responded to all my communication promptly and the job was done right. One of the best subcontractors we've ever worked with!
