AJC Home Services replaced my retaining wall put a new wall in leveled out my yard seeded the yard & pulled out some wild crazy vine that grows in front of my porch I am so happy with the results the crew worked very hard did a excellent job & had it done in 2 days!!! AJC Home Services is a deceptive company with unethical business practices. They took a down payment from me of 50% of the cost of an outdoor home project, however, after realizing that my homeowners' association (HOA) did not approve the project. I immediately informed AJC. I called the owner (Ben - who was also the person who took my down payment) within 24 hours of discussing the project with him. I did proceed to obtain the HOA's approval of my project. They rejected it. I informed AJC Home Services and Ben and Katie refused to reimburse my down payment, even though they have not invested anything in the project and not even proposed the details of what is to be done. Incredible Tree Trimming. - AJC Home Services. The crew did an absolutely incredible job trimming the trees here. It is phenomenal work. Plus they were friendly and easy to work with. I had major tree trimming that needed to be done. These were huge oak trees 40 to 60 feet high, probably more. They brought in heavy equipment and a bucket crane and a very experienced and very friendly crew. It was a huge job. They arrived on time and were highly efficient and artistic in how they cut these trees. The branches were very very large and complicated reaching over the house. They did truly an extraordinary job. I was amazed at how well it looked and the quality of the work. They even swept the yard clean of all debris. I very highly recommend this company. Less

Called for an estimate and was given a quote that was fair for 2 trees cut down with an opening for same day. Later on that day workers arrived and completed the job in a prompt and professional manner. Would call again for next job. Less

Everything went smoothly from estimate to completion. Communication was excellent at all times regarding arrivals, schedule changes , estimated completion times. The work crew was efficient in all aspects of tree removal and clean up. Very careful with no damage to property or existing landscaping during the tree removal and stump grinding process. I REQUESTED QUOTE TO TRIM A TREE. BEN ADVISED THE TREE BE REMOVED INSTEAD DUE TO IT'S POOR CONDITION. WE AGREED AND PAID HALF THE QUOTED PRICE. THE JOB WAS RESCHEDULED DUE TO WEATHER A FEW TIMES. BUT COMMUNICATION WAS HIT OR MISS. NO SHOW WHEN SCHEDULED AND RANDOM SHOW UP WITHOUT NOTICE. COMPLETE REMOVAL TOOK 3 DAYS AND ON LAST DAY WHEN STUMP WAS TO BE GROUND OUT SO WE COULD PLANT REPLACEMENT TREE, FOR WHICH WE WERE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL $500, I GOT A PHONE CALL SAYING EQUIPMENT WAS BROKEN BECAUSE WE ASKED TO HAVE THE STUMP GROUND DOWN ENOUGH TO PLANT A TREE. I EXPLAINED I WOULD NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR EQUIPMENT I NEVER TOUCHED AND WAS UNHAPPY WITH THE IMPLIED ACCUSATION. IN ADDITION, WE HAD REQUESTED A QUOTE TO REMOVE SOME ESCAVATED DIRT. THEY REQUESTED A PHOTO AND GAVE ME A WRITTEN QUOTE TO REMOVE THE DIRT. THEN IN MIDDLE OF JOB, I WAS CALLED TO SAY IT WAS MORE THAN THEY EXPECTED AND WANTED TO DOUBLE THE PRICE I WAS QUOTED OR THEY WOULD LEAVE JOB HALF DONE! IF I HAD AGREED TO A QUOTED PRICE AND THEN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE JOB LOWERED THE AMOUNT I WAS WILLING TO PAY, FOR WHATEVER REASON, I DOND'T THINK THEY WOULD HAVE AGREED. HOWEVER, SINCE I WAS OVER A BARREL NEEDING TO HAVE THE DIRT REMOVED, I PAID AN AGREED UPON ADDITIONAL FEE JUST TO BE DONE. I FEEL THEY WERE INCREDIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND EVEN RUDE TO TRY AN ACCUSE ME OF BEING RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR EQUIPMENT BREAKDOWN. MY CONTACT WAS MOSTLY WITH KATIE WHO WAS POLITE AND PLEASANT BUT WAS PASSING ON COMMJUNICATION FROM HER SUPERIOR, BEN, WHO I ONLY SPOKE TO ONE TIME. We have now used this service to have trees and stumps removed twice. They are professional and courteous. The work is done efficiently and they clean up any mess. I would definitely hire them again. Less
