We looked at various companies for our first time home purchase. After reviewing the companies out there, we determined that Chicagoland Home Inspectors was the best option. I’m happy to say we can say with confidence that we made the right decision. Our inspector, Frank Dattalo was great. We’ve heard horror stories of inspectors not wanting the buyer to follow them during the inspection. From the start Frank welcomed us to follow him and ask any questions. First, they sent out as our inspector Glen-Carl Dahlman, who combined a friendly manner, a wide array of expertise on the all the elements that a home inspection involves, and a easy patience with a green first-home buyer like myself. Second, the home inspection produced a thorough and well-documented report on our prospective home which the owner of the company, Charles Bellefontaine, reviewed with us through a zoom call and interpret the plus and minuses of the report.
