I decided to choose the platinum resume package.After applying to my 3rd mining company, I landed a permanent full time FIFO 2:1 Entry Level Driller's Offsider position in the gold mines with a drilling and mining contractor. The point of hire for this position was Perth but I landed this job and got my contract signed while living in NSW, just south of Sydney.I was in the application process for about 5 weeks. It took a while but it came through.Guys, it can be done!!! Challenging but doable! I feel it's not the location that's the most important but resilience, effective communication, saying what recruiters want to hear and OF COURSE AN ATS COMPLIANT CV!
