Update: after speaking with discount about this and my insurance group, I'd like to apologize to discount Rent-A-Car. They were really good to me throughout my service I had with them + my insurance hasn't handled the situation very well and they were in the right to do what they did. Even though it was unexpected, it was also their family's. Christmas is too, so I hope that they had a good one. + No harsh feelings are held toward them. I hope that they have a wonderful and successful year rent from them they are great!!-------******-**********I got into an accident, it wasn't my fault, my insurance covered the loss until the rest is resolved. Discount told me I owedlthem the deductable, I'm okay with that as long as my insurance company verified. I've been trying to contact them for weeks to get nothing, Discount decided that on Xmas Eve they would run my debit card for $750. Now I'm broke without enough money to pay for gas to make it to Mom's on Xmas. I rented a car for over a month and they've already collected $2,250 from me. Part of the reason I'm broke.
