After a pretty traumatic first birth, I was adamant in doing everything I can second time around to ensure a beautiful, healing birth. I found Melissa, and from the get go, she was AMAZING!Melissa was easy going, easy to talk to and the delivery of the course was great, even hubby was happy to have done it.In the end my birth was another wild ride, but thanks to Melissa, I was able to get my dream, unmediated water birth.Thank you Melissa, for everything! My husband and I took hypnobirthing classes with Melissa to prepare for the birth of our baby girl and it completely transformed our experience of birthing. I am so grateful for all the knowledge and experience she brought along with some very useful tools - breathing techniques, visualizations and affirmations which really supported me during birthing. I was able to breathe through the surges during the 9 hour journey of birthing even when the sensations got really intense. I was able to birth without taking an epidural or getting an episiotomy and that has left me feeling so much stronger and confident in trusting the power of my body. The greatest gift was being present and alert when I received my baby and to see her engaging with the world around her, very soon after being born. I would highly recommend Melissa's sessions. She has been such a wonderful support throughout and ensured that my husband felt prepared to support me as my birthing partner. Thank you so much, Melissa!

It was such a great support to have Melissa teach and guide us through hypnobirthing. It was my second pregnancy, and the entire course helped us understand and learn practical tools throughout pregnancy and labour- much more so than I had ever gained from pre natal courses with my first pregnancy.The course and Melissa’s teaching is highly informative and engaging about the entire pregnancy process. Not knowing much about hypnobirthing going into the course , I was positively surprised that there is a lot of science based information taught about the labour process. Melissa gave me knowledge and also the empowerment to go into labour confident and without fear. I would recommend to anyone!

Melissa is a true gem, she’s that woman everyone needs in their life. She has perhaps been the most instrumental person in my birthing journey. Her sessions are personal yet professional, factual yet emotional, calming yet empowering. A big bonus is she is always available, ready to chat, with warmth she will boost your confidence, and calmly ease your nerves - not only before birth, but even during and much after. This shows how everything she does is peppered with so much passion and belief. A lot of her experiences are first hand and varied so it’s not just theory and information but real life instances and tips that guide you. I’m so grateful to have had Melissa as my hypnobirthing guide—she was patient, kind, and incredibly attentive. She made both my husband and me feel completely at ease during our sessions. Even though my birth didn’t unfold exactly as planned at 41 weeks, I look back on my pregnancy with so much confidence and joy, largely thanks to her. She answered countless questions, helped me understand my changing body, and gave me the tools to stay grounded and trust myself. Her support extended well beyond the birth—she helped me process my birth experience and was there through a very rocky start to breastfeeding. My husband and I were so lucky to have Melissa as our hypnobirther for our first pregnancy. She is a presence to be around, and calms your nerves with her voice. She is an incredible and busy mom of four, but was always on time, organized, and efficient during our hypnobirthing sessions. Although my delivery did not end up natural due to complications, even during labor, she was the trusted phone call I made to calm the chaos around me, and bounced off thoughts as I made my decision for a c-section. (And she was kind enough to talk me through it all in the midst of a big family move on her end!). We are very lucky to have her as a friend in life now, even oceans apart!
