I was involved in a very serious accident back in October of 25’, I was referred to university Orthopedic care for my treatment. I can’t express enough the professionalism from the time you walk in their office to the individual attention you recieve when your name is called. Every staff member is not only knowledgeable in the area of care you are treated for what you suffer from not what the last individual treatment was. I am a disabled Combat Veteran and health care for me has been an extreme challenge to feel I am receiving the correct advice and treatment. University Orthopedic Care I would refer to anyone seeking 5 star treatment from a very good group of medical professionals.

I was a bit skeptical with allowing University Orthopedic Care of Sarasota to service my care; however meeting Doctor Abraham Fura really made me feel as if I was family and all my fears of having the best care possible vanished! I can honestly say from the minute I walked into the facility to the minute I exited everyone was exceedingly professional. I would definitely recommend this Orthopedic Care Facility it is definitely Five-Star! Thank you to a great Team of Professionals. I was seen in the office on June 15th due to complications from my accident and from the moment until the time I exited I was made to feel like family. This office has amazing Doctors and staff. A year ago, after being involved in a motor vehicle accident, I came to University Orthopedic Doctors in University Park suffering from excruciating pain caused by three herniated discs, with pain radiating down my leg.I cannot thank Dr. Notman and surgeon Dr. Spurrier enough for their dedication, expertise, and attention to detail. DOT physical exam and drug test was my reason for my visit! The front desk lady's were so professional and nice, but they could be a bit more informative about certain situations that eliminate the unnecessary problems that I went through causing me to make 4 trips to get my clinical tests done. But it's mostly the fault of the company that is responsible for my hiring process and not making the appointment instead of just sending me to the office with a email form to complete my requirements. Otherwise I was extremely happy with the way the entire Medical staff was NOT trying to rush me out of the office and having no personality because of the technical issue that were happening with my online process. It was not a short process but I am not like a lot of people who think that nothing ever happens and they shouldn't have to deal with the real life issues in daily life and consider myself a realistic person with the ability to see when it is uncontrolled issues and not just the way the people who I'm dealing with are just not good at their job, but I can absolutely assure you that the doctors and Nurses are EXTREMELY CONCERNED ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS!! As well as their experience and care they provide each patient!! And not just looking at someone as a number to obtain an end goal of profit like a lot of places. So I really believe that respect is earned and not just giving and being able to have my clinical process completed by a group of genuine people that are actively involved with the absolute sincerity to make me feel like I have been given my best possible results and the absolute best treatment for the entire process is almost to good to be true. So from the bottom of my heart I really can't thank the entire staff enough for everything and the way they made what should have been a horrible experience into the best doctors visit in a long long time!!

I’m here in the recovery room as I write this.I can’t say enough about the entire team here. I’ve been in and out of a lot of medical care over the last 5 years and, I mean this from the bottom of my heart, no healthcare team has ever come close to the team they have assembled here. If healthcare professionals were superheroes, they are The Avengers. A few shout outs, first:Just had my second set of spins injections with, the only term I can think of, the dream team. Dr Maria and Mitch (from Puerto Rico) … you’ve got to be kidding me. Such a stressful situation with, otherwise scary and nerve wracking procedures, made seamlessly easy… and even fun. My first spinal injections and I felt so well taken care of and the procedure was a snap. They played me music and we made jokes. And THE RELIEF! For the first time in months I felt meaningful relief. Thank you Dr Maria and Mitch! Seriously. You two are the dream team!Next! The man I see more than anyone. Camilo and the front desk. Was warm welcoming and efficient right away with every guest that came in. After just the second visit, remembered me by name and specific conversation we had last time. Always happy to see you brother !Next up. Shout outs to Dr Patel. The coolest Dr I’ve ever met. You just want to go grab a beer with him and hangout. And then have him seamlessly fix everything wrong with you. He just knew what was wrong and how to fix it. Just the top pro at what he does. He works closely with Dr Lindsey. Same deal. I trust her with literally everything. How lucky are they to have this pair here?! Great humor and care. One of the most devoted people I’ve ever see to her job and patients.
