Alongside Jay Clifford, he has created a firm that genuinely puts people first. Whether working with business owners, entrepreneurs, retirees, or families, they take the time to listen, understand each client’s unique situation, and develop thoughtful strategies tailored to their goals. One of Doug’s greatest strengths is his ability to take complex financial and business planning challenges and explain them in a way that is practical, understandable, and actionable. During life’s inevitable transitions and uncertainties, that ability to simplify complicated decisions provides tremendous confidence and peace of mind.Doug is known for his straightforward communication. He tells people what they need to hear with honesty, respect, and genuine concern for their long-term success. That kind of integrity is increasingly rare and is one of the reasons so many clients place their trust in him and his team.As a fellow entrepreneur, I know how important it is to work with professionals who combine experience, wisdom, and authenticity. I have had the privilege of knowing and working with Doug McClure for many years, both as a trusted professional and as a longtime family friend. Throughout that time, I have witnessed firsthand his unwavering commitment to helping individuals, families, and nonprofit organizations achieve financial security and long-term success. Doug brings a rare combination of deep expertise, integrity, compassion, and vision to every relationship he builds.Doug played a key role in helping us structure financial protections for one of our company’s potential partner buyouts. By implementing a comprehensive plan that included key man insurance and other risk-management strategies, he helped ensure the company would remain in a strong financial position in the event of an untimely death — a level of preparedness we greatly appreciated.Doug consistently goes above and beyond, even when the situation has nothing to do with business. He is the type of person who steps up to help friends, acquaintances, and colleagues alike, whether the need is personal or professional. What sets Doug apart is his ability to look beyond traditional financial planning. He develops comprehensive, customized strategies that address every aspect of a client’s financial life — from income planning and retirement strategies to estate planning, wealth preservation, charitable giving, and legacy planning. His solutions are always thoughtful and tailored to each client’s unique goals and circumstances.I have also seen Doug’s strong dedication to the nonprofit sector. He is quick to support important organizations throughout the Tucson community and deeply understands the unique financial challenges they face. He has worked tirelessly to help them strengthen their financial foundations, maximize resources, and increase their impact.Together with his business partner Jay Clifford, Doug has built Global Investment Strategies into a client-first organization. Their collaborative approach, expertise, and commitment to excellence have made a meaningful difference in the lives of countless families, business owners, retirees, and nonprofit leaders. They take the time to truly understand each client’s objectives and craft personalized strategies that deliver financial stability, growth, and peace of mind.If you are looking for a trusted advisor who genuinely cares about your success and will be with you through every stage of your financial journey, I highly recommend Doug McClure without hesitation.
