Unfortunately I will not be using Carolina Closets Plus for my closet needs and Murphy bed projects. I didn't even get a consultation. I filled out the form, some one called me and send me an email regarding my needs, and we spoke for a few minutes on my projects. We set a consultation date and time for today may 26 at 1pm. No one showed up. I called the company to make sure I didn't have the wrong date. They told me thats ms. Cali or Kelly didn't hear the name right stated I needed to reschedule. No one called me or texted or email me to say they were not coming, nor did I want to reschedule.The person on the phone was not apologetic at all, and I know it's not her fault, but didn't seem like they cared. So they lost me as a customer before we even started any business. I mean if you are just not going to show up for a consultation and tell your company I requested a reschedule that's crazy work and bad for business. I was excited to work with this company because the reviews were good and the pics of the closets were beautiful, but I can trust them to show up when their workers don't communicate.

I’m completely smitten with my new closets.Everyone was a joy to work with start to finish; Julia with her design expertise, Jonathan with scheduling and not making me feel like the most annoying customer, David and Marlon with installation.They worked with our space and our storage needs and extremely nosey dogs so well. Can’t recommend enough.

I would not recommend Artisan Closets based on my experience.Before purchasing, I specifically asked whether the company would scribe the units so they would sit flush against uneven walls, and I was told by the sales representative "yes" and that this would be addressed during the install. Instead, the units were installed with gaps in areas ranging from 1–3 inches away from the wall. Things can fall down the gaps and I will be unable to retrieve them.When I asked about adding molding to cover the gaps, the installer said it could not be done. He claimed the units were s​cribed but he was actually referring to the edge banding covering exposed composite wood to give it a finished look, not custom fitting the units to uneven walls. He did not know the difference between edge banding and sc​r​ibing the wood to ensure a flat fit against a wall.​In the end, ​the company was unwilling to correct the issue.Overall, the company was not willing to properly fix the installation problems despite the cost of the project. I wish I went with another company.
