Positive experience renting from Waka Campa! Quick and friendly response from start to finish. Easy pick-up and drop-off, and no surprise charges. Though we didn’t get to meet the people we were dealing with by email and phone calls, it didn‘t take away from their ever-ready support. No mechanical issues with the van; easy to drive. Mattress provided was great! Had to get used to the inside layout a bit (tight spaces to move around for 2 persons), but didn’t take long to get used to it. Would recommend for a fuss-free adventure!

We loved the easy pick up and drop off coming in as international travellers with two kids.Shout out to LJ who helped us fix a small problem with the internal vehicle but scheduled us in for a quickly repair.If you want to get away from the big companies and use a local, well run company. We hebben 3,5 week met een camper van Waka Campa rond gereden en we hebben ervan genoten! De 1e dag hadden we helaas een langzame start omdat we de camper later op konden halen dan gepland, maar voor de rest van de reis is alles soepel verlopen. Ook de informatie die je van tevoren krijgt over de camper is zeer uitgebreid en nuttig. Ik heb paar keer contact gehad via email en WhatsApp en er werd altijd tijdig en netjes op gereageerd. Nieuw-Zeeland is een geweldig land voor een roadtrip en ik vond het jammer dat we de camper weer in moesten leveren.. 😕 Ik zou hier weer zo een camper huren! Enige verbeterpuntje is iets meer opbergruimte 😉

Nous avons loué un van avec waka campa pour un road trip dans l’île du Sud et l’île du Nord. Tout était parfait, nous n’avons eu aucun problème et l’équipe a été très réactive pour répondre à toutes nos questions. Le véhicule était en excellent état et la procédure pour récupérer et rendre le van est très pratique. Nous avons passé un mois en Nouvelle-Zélande et nous revenons enchantés de notre voyage. Great experience with Waka Campa. I chose the newer fit model, which was a good choice as it only had 2.500km on it and felt quite new. So, I had no issues with our lovely little campervan. Perfect for a couple. Although I must admit it's good we're not the tallest in the world. We had some issues with our bedding not being complete. But we managed to solve it with them in a satisfactory way. Waka Campa also arranged our ferry tickets from Picton to Wellington which was quite handy. The campervans look quite cool too! Recommend.

Amazing company for rental of a comfy cosy camper van. I lived in it for 5 weeks with my mum and loved it. It’s super practical and fits in a normal car sized parking space. Due to the size, it’s easy to camp anywhere (where it’s allowed). Self sustaining so able to camp on most camp grounds. 10 out of 10 for support and customer service! If I come back, definitely booking with them again.
