Honestly, I battled cancer and if you seen my before pictures. It was such a sad time in my life. My hairline was going to be like that for the rest of my life. And because of Steve and his amazing work, his gifted hand as an artist, literally gave me new life. Before you understand what Sculpted has done for me, I have to break down in honesty and tell you how shallow/insecure I became after losing my hair. It was one of those “misery loves company” type situations. I became palpably irritable and miserable. I just felt ugly and reposed to “interaction” because it was obvious to me the difference in attracting attention when you have hair, Vs when you don’t, as I had sadly lived both eras during my youth. On top of that, I was born to a Colombian family, so, if you know… you KNOW! If not, just understand that aesthetics and beauty were always prevalent in my upbringing… especially because my mom happens to have always been drop-dead gorgeous. For reference, I look like my dad… lol So I was always JUST behind the finish line. Because of this, I saw firsthand how people dealt with her differently JUST BECAUSE, she was/is gorgeous. And I am talking men and women alike… As a result, I have been able to postulate and recognize the psychological impact of 1) the importance of how people see/perceive you and 2) how you see yourself and how it affects your comfortability around others. My long, boring point is, even in recognition of all these variables, it could never account to how amazing I feel now, just walking into a room of people… heck; running into an empty room with a mirror alone! It’s impressively and effectively impacting. The more common term is “life-changing”. What I found most interesting is that, people I have known for over 20 years, a period of which I have been bald for the whole time, after my first few sessions, said to me, “nice haircut”. 😳 I’m talking BEST, see-you-every-day kinda, FRIENDS!! lol. I’ve yet to correct any of them. 😂🫢 Aside from rambling on about “my feelings”, I also need to take the time to thank, re-thank and, maybe even grovel a little bit in front of all the Sculpted crew. Steve, you did so much to accommodate me. That one day I got lost and came in all sweaty, you cleaned my head down (several times), handed me a roll of paper towel, set my chair right under the AC, but never batted an eye! I was SO embarrassed, feeling gross/helpless because I live 45 minutes away and didn’t wanna miss my appointment. However, you treated my situation like you were dealing with a family member. Steve is an ACTUAL artist, which you think is most important but, NOPE… Once you EXPERIENCE Steve, you’ll know what I mean… he is elaborate in his explanations of what he intends to PERMANENTLY secure on your dermis, he’s SO awesome about LISTENING to your goals and tweaking his craft to meet your vision. It means SO much to see someone INVESTED in what he’s doing to better your appearance. You see it BRINGS HIM JOY to make you look good. WHAT ELSE COULD YOU ASK FOR FROM AN ARTIST ATTEMPTING A PERMANENT CHANGE IN YOUR APPEARANCE!!!???! ANYONE who wants this done should AT LEAST do their research on this place. This course absolutely blew my mind. The world of permanent makeup can be the wild west sometimes, with fly-by-night trainings and people teaching with incorrect information. As a newly licensed artist only having worked on brows, I reserved a seat in Carla’s Lip Blush Fundamentals class and I am so happy I did. The quality of education I received during those three days was incredible. But, what really surprised me was the support I have been receiving after training in-person. I went on to take lip and brow color theory webinars, and the responses we all received from Cori and Carla were always quick and thorough. Carla even sent videos and answered questions in our group chat on Christmas Eve when she was home with her daughter. I am currently studying Carlas online lip Colour Theory course and I have to just say that the understanding and the science knowledge that it provides you with is one of a kind in this industry and already will make you feel so much more confident with colour choices and their longevity for your client! I'm still going through the course as it allows you a 30 day access but already I don't even want to use any other pigments but the Enhance and Embody set. Carla will tell you herself she did not create the course to promote her pigments - as she created the pigments based off the science.., but when you learn the science behind it for yourself you will truly only want to use her pigments. I wish this was around/I had known from my first ever lip training as it would save so much stress and money. For anyone thinking about the course I would 100% say do it - and to be honest with you the price is actually nothing for the quantity and the quality of information and support that you receive from Carla and the team personally. My advice to all would be schedule yourself so that you have plenty of days off to really focus and dive into the course. I did not take any clients until I had finished the assignments with full understanding. Less

As someone new to the industry, you know where you are lacking early on in the game, if you’re being honest with yourself 😉. Color and pigment theory was what I knew I needed to learn *before* my first ever PMU training, and it was what I knew I still needed legitimate training in afterward. I don’t remember exactly how I came across Carla and Sculpted, but I knew it was what would change my newly chosen career, as well as the final results for my clients. The course sheds layers of misinformation that’s trapped us in a holding pattern in our color selections, and gives you, the artist, the knowledge and ability to FLEX that knowledge in real life.
