I had a very disappointing experience with Estate Culture Ltd as a tenant. After moving out, they attempted to deduct £585 from my deposit for cleaning, mould treatment, repainting, and worktop replacement. I disputed these charges as they were either exaggerated or not my responsibility. The case went through the Deposit Protection Service, and the adjudicator rejected the majority of their claims. In the end, I only had to pay £169, and £415 was returned to me.This clearly shows that the initial charges were significantly overstated.Additionally, there were concerns during the tenancy regarding the landlord entering the property without permission, which is unacceptable and a breach of tenant rights.Overall, the experience felt unfair and stressful, requiring formal dispute resolution to reach a reasonable outcome. I would advise future tenants to carefully document everything and be prepared to challenge any unjustified charges.Would not recommend.I saw the agency's review comment.I've already informed them multiple times; the agency's attitude was very rude and unacceptable.
