We did the Maui and Lana'i snorkel tour and dolphin encounter. Emma and AJ were fantastic, very knowledgeable about the islands, animal life, and local spots. We got to see a huge pod of spinner dolphins during the tour that came right up to the boat, and snorkeled in two spots with crystal clear water and plenty of fish. The banana bread and fresh fruit were also delicious. As a newer touring company, I wish them only the best, because they deserve it! You can tell that they really care about sustainable tourism with a personal touch. Highly recommend!

Captain Emma and Kass were so accommodating and kind to our family. We had kids ages 6-11 for the snorkel and they helped us, and kept an eye on everyone for us. The snorkel was just as fantastic as the hospitality. The homemade banana bread hit the spot too! You should absolutely choose this boat for your next adventure. Thank you ladies!!

We had an incredible snorkeling experience with Maui Ocean Adventures! Captain Emma and Val were fantastic — genuinely knowledgeable about the local marine life and clearly cared about making sure everyone had a great time. They took great care of our whole group from start to finish.We visited spots off both Lanai and Maui, and another highlight was swimming in the water in the middle of the channel as the weather conditions were perfect, truly unforgettable moment we won’t forget. I booked the Maui & Lanaʻi Snorkel Tour and Dolphin Encounter as a treat for my family and it became one of the highlights of our Maui vacation. The entire morning was magical, therapeutic, and absolutely beautiful.Captains Emma and Laney were warm, professional, knowledgeable, and so much fun. Even though the dolphins didn't make an appearance on our trip (that's nature!), we swam with sea turtles and were surrounded by vibrant tropical fish. The crystal-clear water and breathtaking scenery made for an unforgettable experience. The boat ride itself was fun, yet relaxing, the snorkeling equipment was excellent, and the snacks were a thoughtful touch. This was a great tour!! The snorkeling was amazing. The guides and captains are knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife located there. They were sure to make sure everything fit everyone correctly and that we could all have a good time. The banana bread was delicious and the boat ride was chill and relaxing. I would totally do this again. 10/10 recommend.

What an incredible way to spend a morning to afternoon! We had the best time start to finish. We saw so many dolphins & views from the boat are spectacular. We loved having a smaller boat tour & the crew made sure you are so comfortable & have everything you need. The snorkeling was so clear and beautiful, great gear provided as well. An absolutely unforgettable whale watching experience! The biggest advantage of this tour was the small boat with only a few guests on board, which made it easy to move around freely, find the best views, and capture amazing videos of the whales. Even though we were visiting slightly after the peak season, the captain managed to locate a large group of whales - including males competing for a female, which was truly incredible to witness.The crew was exceptionally kind and welcoming, and their extensive knowledge about whales made the whole experience even more engaging and informative. It was truly a unique and breathtaking adventure - I would happily go on this whale watching tour again!

We visited Maui recently and booked the Whale Encounter. This was an awesome experience!! The all women owned company did not disappoint! We loved the small group vs some other excursions that had over 100 people on board. The young woman Captain and Co-Captain were so knowledgeable in all things whales. We saw some beautiful whales and even a momma whale with her calf. The excursion was 2 hours. Thank you ladies for a great experience

Excellent job. Would 100% recommend and go again!The pink boat was super nice on the inside with brand new sea deck, it just just big enough to where you felt safe out there on the water but not too big so when we saw whales it was easy to move from one side of the boat to the other.The guide & Captain was very knowledgeable and fun to be around. Very laid back and friendly. Tip them well!!! They deserve it!We saw tons of whales, they swam all under the boat and around us, super cool. 10/10!!

Awesome trip with Kyle and Mark today! They were both very informative, safety oriented, and fun! I was amazed with glass bottom kayaks and how well you can see through them. The turtles were beautiful and plenty of them. Their assistance with the inexperienced was thoughtful and kind. Kyle and Mark really went the distance for everyone to have a great experience. I truly wish I had know of them on my prior visits to Maui as my family and I would have booked them in a heartbeat. Highly recommend them!!! Thank you Kyle and Mark!!!!!!

It was an absolute pleasure to be guided by the crew at Maui Ocean Adventures to see the amazing humpback whales of the coast of Laihana! Captain Chrissy and Captain Emma along with Alison were very welcoming and gave us lots of insightful knowledge about the whales and their way of life. My wife and I booked this trip last minute. The captain was very knowledgeable of the area and of the whales. We saw 2 groups within 10 mins of being on the water. The boat was clean and new, smooth ride and small group. Saw so many whales and was a highlight experience for the both of us. Definitely recommend.

Very professional set up. Very comfortable boat. We saw about 14 whales including little babies and even included a baby one breaching the water. They submerged a listening device and you could hear all the whales locally. Parking on the street was easy. I would recommend this boat as it looks much more comfortable than some of the ribs going out.

Managing the waves and wind was a breeze for them. I usually get pretty sea sick, I did prepare for that, but it was really a smooth ride. This company is amazing and our family had a fabulous time. Captain Emma is great and we were so lucky to get a spectacular show from a mama and baby whale while out on the two hour midday whale watching tour. The ladies that run this company really love what they do and care about the island, people and of course whales! Highly recommend this company.
