Maui Ocean Adventures was our escort boat for the Paddle For Life event this year and we are so grateful for their willingness to support our team. When we asked they were so excited to support us and they jumped right in! I was also highly impressed with the skills and knowledge of the captain and crew and felt very safe on this boat! And it's pretty awesome that it's an all female captain and crew! They communicated clearly and confidently and kept us safe the entire voyage. Whenever I am planning a whale watch or snorkel tour or another voyage, MOA will be at the top of my list! I would adventure with these amazing ladies any time!

My husband and I LOVED our experience with Maui Ocean Adventures. It was hands-down the highlight of our honeymoon trip to Maui. The snorkeling was incredible, the dolphins were breath-taking, and the sea turtles were the icing on the cake. We were so impressed by the crew, Captain Shannon and First Mate Lainey - they were knowledgeable, funny, and safety-oriented. Neither one of us had ever gone snorkeling before and they made us feel completely at ease. We loved the small boat size and personal feel of the trip. We did a snorkel and dolphin trip with Maui Ocean Adventures and couldn’t have enjoyed it more.Being on a small boat with a small crew really felt so relaxing. We saw dolphins and the snorkel spots were so beautiful (better than molokini in our opinion), so many different and colorful fish, that were not afraid of us so we could get really close. Even the reef was just so magical.At the second spot we saw so many turtles, we couldn’t believe it, it was just the best snorkel experience ever!Our guides were lovely, very professional and helpful and we got to pet their dogs (extra points).We would definitely recommend supporting this small, local business that powered through the disaster that happened in beautiful Lahaina.Dear Maui Ocean Adventures team, thank you so much!!

My Wife and I went-out on September 14 (2026) for a two-hour Spinner Dolphin "search". We saw many-more than we expected, perhaps because another boat was along-side us and these dolphins love to leap-over the bow wave of both boats !! So, we were constantly video "filming" theses dolphins by, first, looking at our own boat's bow wave and, then, switching-over to look at the bow wave of the other boat. At times, the dolphins were leaping-over the bow waves of both boats at the same time.So, we could not get all of the dolphins' video "filmed" on our phone's camera, when they were "above water", BUT it was fun trying to do-so. Anyway, I think the dolphins were actually being entertained by our presence, NOT the other way around...Come on-out and ride the "Pink Boat" and see how much fun these ladies can provide for you; they certainly know where to position their boats for "maximum exposure" to the dolphins.

We did the Maui and Lana'i snorkel tour and dolphin encounter. Emma and AJ were fantastic, very knowledgeable about the islands, animal life, and local spots. We got to see a huge pod of spinner dolphins during the tour that came right up to the boat, and snorkeled in two spots with crystal clear water and plenty of fish. The banana bread and fresh fruit were also delicious. As a newer touring company, I wish them only the best, because they deserve it! You can tell that they really care about sustainable tourism with a personal touch. Highly recommend!

Captain Emma and Kass were so accommodating and kind to our family. We had kids ages 6-11 for the snorkel and they helped us, and kept an eye on everyone for us. The snorkel was just as fantastic as the hospitality. The homemade banana bread hit the spot too! You should absolutely choose this boat for your next adventure. Thank you ladies!!

We had an incredible snorkeling experience with Maui Ocean Adventures! Captain Emma and Val were fantastic — genuinely knowledgeable about the local marine life and clearly cared about making sure everyone had a great time. They took great care of our whole group from start to finish.We visited spots off both Lanai and Maui, and another highlight was swimming in the water in the middle of the channel as the weather conditions were perfect, truly unforgettable moment we won’t forget. I booked the Maui & Lanaʻi Snorkel Tour and Dolphin Encounter as a treat for my family and it became one of the highlights of our Maui vacation. The entire morning was magical, therapeutic, and absolutely beautiful.Captains Emma and Laney were warm, professional, knowledgeable, and so much fun. Even though the dolphins didn't make an appearance on our trip (that's nature!), we swam with sea turtles and were surrounded by vibrant tropical fish. This was a great tour!! The snorkeling was amazing. The guides and captains are knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife located there. They were sure to make sure everything fit everyone correctly and that we could all have a good time. The banana bread was delicious and the boat ride was chill and relaxing. An absolutely unforgettable whale watching experience! The biggest advantage of this tour was the small boat with only a few guests on board, which made it easy to move around freely, find the best views, and capture amazing videos of the whales. Even though we were visiting slightly after the peak season, the captain managed to locate a large group of whales - including males competing for a female, which was truly incredible to witness.The crew was exceptionally kind and welcoming, and their extensive knowledge about whales made the whole experience even more engaging and informative. It was truly a unique and breathtaking adventure - I would happily go on this whale watching tour again!

We visited Maui recently and booked the Whale Encounter. This was an awesome experience!! The all women owned company did not disappoint! We loved the small group vs some other excursions that had over 100 people on board. The young woman Captain and Co-Captain were so knowledgeable in all things whales. We saw some beautiful whales and even a momma whale with her calf. The excursion was 2 hours. Thank you ladies for a great experience

Would 100% recommend and go again!The pink boat was super nice on the inside with brand new sea deck, it just just big enough to where you felt safe out there on the water but not too big so when we saw whales it was easy to move from one side of the boat to the other.The guide & Captain was very knowledgeable and fun to be around. Very laid back and friendly. Tip them well!!! They deserve it!We saw tons of whales, they swam all under the boat and around us, super cool. 10/10!!

Awesome trip with Kyle and Mark today! They were both very informative, safety oriented, and fun! I was amazed with glass bottom kayaks and how well you can see through them. The turtles were beautiful and plenty of them. Their assistance with the inexperienced was thoughtful and kind. Kyle and Mark really went the distance for everyone to have a great experience. It was an absolute pleasure to be guided by the crew at Maui Ocean Adventures to see the amazing humpback whales of the coast of Laihana! Captain Chrissy and Captain Emma along with Alison were very welcoming and gave us lots of insightful knowledge about the whales and their way of life. As soon as the crew navigated the boat to the area to see the whales we instantly were surprised by the sight of a baby whale and her mother breaching the sea! 🌊 🐋. My wife and I booked this trip last minute. The captain was very knowledgeable of the area and of the whales. We saw 2 groups within 10 mins of being on the water. The boat was clean and new, smooth ride and small group. Saw so many whales and was a highlight experience for the both of us. Definitely recommend.

Very professional set up. Very comfortable boat. We saw about 14 whales including little babies and even included a baby one breaching the water. They submerged a listening device and you could hear all the whales locally. Parking on the street was easy. I would recommend this boat as it looks much more comfortable than some of the ribs going out.

Exceptional experience. We followed at a respectful distance, a mother and calf for nearly 45 minutes. Our guides were well educated about the species, enthusiastic about well watching, and really made the entire adventure perfect. Don’t pass on this one.
