My husband has had several challenging health issues since July 2025, and we have used caregivers at night from MCM during his lengthy stays at a rehab facility. The aides were very competent, kind, and always helpful. If someone were not a good fit, immediate action was taken, and a replacement sent the following night. All of my calls to MCM were met with very pleasant and quick responses, and Leah, Courtney, and Carly were always available to talk. Both my husband and I have been relieved to have had such strong support and loving care provided by MCM.

Following my 87 year old father's sudden and very dramatic decline in January of 2022 after a minor surgical procedure (complicated by mid stage Alzheimer's disease), we found ourselves in a very difficult position where he suddenly required 24 hour care. I reached out to Andrea and Steve Kohn at Medical Consulting and Management, and they both came out to my parents home that same day and expertly assessed his care needs and gave us an idea of what to expect in the coming weeks regarding his recovery. They immediately provided some personal care supplies as well as some durable medical equipment for us to use. Our hope was to keep him at home as he recovered, and in less than 24 hours, despite the home health care aides shortage due to Covid we had 24 hour care in place for him. We were blown away by Steve and Andrea's attention to detail and quick response to any problems or concerns that we had. Their scheduler for their home health aides was nothing short of a miracle worker. The aides proved excellent care for my father, as well as a peaceful and calm environment for my father and reassurances for us. My father received daily care from MCM for over 19 months up until the day he died, and everyone who came into my parents home from the aides to the nurses were extremely knowledgeable, warm, patient, and reassuring. We would recommend MCM to anyone and will definitely reach out to them again when my mother and mother-in-law need care.

We had an outstanding experience with Medical Consulting & Management when we unexpectedly needed home health care around the clock for my 80-year-old parent. Steve was extremely responsive and accommodating during what was a very stressful time. He was able to provide high quality caregivers on short notice to meet our specific needs. I have referred him to several friends who needed home health providers and they have been very pleased as well. He is also a great resource for finding other specialty providers if he was not able to service our needs. I most appreciate his quick response time and compassionate manner. I will definitely use them if the need arises again.

My mom was 99 years old and had dementia, congestive heart failure, was a fall risk, as well as other problems. My husband and I needed a getaway as we were taking care of her full time. We know Steve and Andrea as personal friends and asked for their help in providing 24-hour care for the five days that we would be away. Steve and Andrea’s home health aides were kind and thorough. They texted me with updates and pictures showing me Mom’s activities every day. They did such a good job, we hired MCM to take care of Mom for four hours a day one to two days a week. The home health aide that they provided cooked her breakfast as requested, gave her a shower and helped her dress for the day, changed her bed, washed a load or two of laundry, and prepared her lunch. Norva was wonderful at performing these duties and so much more. She nurtured Mom and gave her patient and loving care. Steve and Andrea are so kind that they even sent birthday and Christmas gifts to Mom. I highly recommend Steve and Andrea and their home health aides to care for your loved one.Thanks so much!

blessed initially when Lori S. recommended that we connect with MCM when it became evident that Mom and Dad could no longer care for themselves without "help." From the first moments we met you and Andrea at Brooke Grove you both responded with such knowledge and care (asking of the BG staff all the questions we didn't even know to ask.) We knew Lori through Doug. His knowledge of her skills and commitment to providing excellent home care for the elderly made our decision to work with MCM an easy one. Then we met you both, and soon our excellent caregivers. Without experience we never would have dreamed what a long journey we were beginning. And everyone connected with MCM was with us every step of the way. We never hesitated to call you when concerns arose. My first memory of this was when Sam first came and it was clear he didn’t have as much experience as the other aides transferring clients. It took one phone call. The next day an experienced physical therapist was at the house for 2-3 hours training Sam in the skills he needed to transfer Dad safely within the house. (This did become a slight problem because Dad became so comfortable with him that when he needed a substitute, Dad only wanted Sam!) Knowing the challenges of finding capable substitutes (sometimes on short notice) you never failed to send someone who could fill Sam's shoes for a short time. Over time Dad and Sam became like family. Sam called Dad his "brother." We all counted on Sam to be that person who we trusted to provide safety, responsive care and friendship for Dad. And all the others: Gillian - capable, sweet and kind; Wilfred - Gillian's husband, so a "two-for-one bonus." They covered the nights so competently. There was Kobe. He called Dad "Poppa C." His friendship and humor buoyed Dad on his hardest days. And for the entire family, as things got harder, they all provided us with the strength we needed to keep on going. From the beginning of this part of our life's journey we promised our Dad that he could stay in his home. That was his wish. We had no idea what that would mean and how long it would last. But we are certain that we couldn't have done it without the love, support of and skills of the team at MCM. Your care and commitment to our parents went far beyond what we could ever have hoped for as we navigated their last days. The biggest challenges we have faced is making sure that Mom stays safe and is well cared for. Since she is alone at night, we hired your firm for company and her well being. We have been using your firm for many years and are thankful for the professional caregivers that you have provided. We have had the same group of ladies for at least four years. We feel as if they are part of our family. They are so caring with Mom and even have a wonderful relationship with the caregivers we have hired to fill in during the day.
