This is my second time using Home Movers of Birmingham for longer moves. Just as expected Reese was so helpful getting things lined out, and offering fair prices. Jynx and Tony were assigned as our crew, and from the moment they stepped out of the truck it was ‘Go-Time’!! I didn’t feel like I had to watch over them. So while I was working, I would occasionally check in and they were always handling my items as if they were their own. After a 10hr drive, not a single item was damaged or out of place. Home Movers was amazing! We moved from a third floor apartment to a ground floor apartment, and the two movers got our stuff out of the apartment and into the next flawlessly. Our leasing office called us while we were moving and told us that we couldn’t move in until much later than anticipated, and the movers agreed to hang onto our stuff for those few hours (free of charge!). The rate was incredibly reasonable, and the work was efficient. Cant recommend them enough! Less

I called several moving companies before deciding on Home Movers out of Birmingham. We have moved a lot in our marriage and NEVER have we EVER experienced ANYTHING like the team of Keylin and Johnny! When I tell y'all they NEVER took a break, not for lunch, not for snack, NOT once! Those young men worked their tails off!!!!!!!! Home Movers of Birmingham moved our very large, very heavy, very beautiful wardrobe handmade by Amish. The piece was custom built and it ended up being perfect for the space, but too large to fit through the doorways in our home. Home Movers were able to disassemble and reassemble the furniture and get it into the space. I’m still amazed! I definitely would call them again and do recommend their services!! Less

We had a great experience using this company. Reece came out the same day we called to give us an estimate. Our previous home was on a very difficult slope, and our moving day wound up being awful weather with almost constant rain. The job also ran almost double the time estimated due to these factors, but the entire crew remained professional and very accommodating to our large family throughout an exhausting day. I reached out and got in contact with Reece on a Friday, needing to get a move scheduled ASAP for a property my company was purchasing. He was able to get me scheduled for the following Monday. The job was much bigger than expected, since I had never been to the property. The moving crew, JD and Caleb were on time and did an amazing job pushing through and getting everything done by end of day. The following day, Reece got me a crew out to finish the job by doing a junk haul off. Again, it was a huge job and the guys, Myron and Cortez did a great job. I was extremely happy to have gotten this done so quickly on short notice and for a fair price. I will definitely call them again the next time I need movers in Birmingham. Less

Home Movers packed home items: (furniture, appliances, TV’s, etc..) and offloaded the items into storage until the owners closed on their new home. Home Movers was not retained for future services due to the mishandling of the property and and improper storing that resulted in damaged items. Upon removal of the property from storage today we realized that even more damage was sustained. We have been unsuccessful with reaching the Managment team after a few voicemails. Some items can not be replaced and have sentimental value. One should take pride in handling the property of others or not be in this business. Less

Ryan and Alex just did am amazing job cleaning my carpets! I have Berber Stainmaster carpet that had very bad stains in one room. They were able to get those stains out when 2 other companies had not. Ryan & Alex were pros at what they did, as well as, being a pleasure to do business with. Y’all…. RUN, don’t walk, to Home Movers of Birmingham. I can’t speak highly enough about them. You see a lot of posts of people expressing poor experience with a company but I can’t do that with Reece and his crew! I needed some help with moving some furniture. I have a broken wrist and can’t do it myself so I called them as they were the first ones to pop up on google. They were at my house same day to give me a quote and had everything moved the next day.
