I hired First Rate Movers for a local move in Lewes DE. The experience from start to finish left me very happy for the following reasons.1. Sam, the salesperson was very responsive and communicative. His experience with packing and moving was obvious in how he handled my questions and how his estimate was on the mark for time, packing materials needed etc. He was professional, courteous and friendly.2. Andrea who coordinated the move was equally professional. She not only responded quickly when I contacted her but was also very proactive in calling us and collecting information without pressuring me in any way. Overall, the experience with her until the day before the move gave me confidence that the move was going to go well. She then called 3 times on the day of the move - at the start, when they just about finished loading and when they finished unloading - just to get my view of things and if there's anything she could help with. Each time, she had already talked to her crew and was up to date on status and I didn't have to repeat it. Very very well coordinated.3. The crew is where I have seen other movers take a dive in experience. That did not happen here. My first pleasant surprise was I got an automated message stating the estimated arrival time of the crew 30 minutes before scheduled time. They arrived as stated. The crew, Nakis, Nakis, Brandon and Shondrei (apologize for any spelling errors) followed my instructions and advised w.r.t packing, transportation and storing as needed. They were also courteous, patient and efficient. I had some simple but unique requests which they followed respecting my request whether they believed it was necessary or not.Move completed in the estimated time cleanly without damage to anything. Happy to hire them again in future and recommend for others.
