I was referred to Brian by my previous real estate agent, Dana Overson. I was moving to St Johns & needed a small mortgage since the proceeds from the sale of my home didn’t cover the full asking price. I called several loan officers, but no one would work with me due to the amount of the loan & the fact my income was based upon my social security disability. I called Brian expecting to be rejected again, but to my surprise he was willing to take the time to work with me. After one phone call, he had a preapproval letter ready for me. When he asked me the selling price of my home, he questioned whether the price was fair because comps showed homes in that area selling for much more. When I told him that it was a transaction involving family & I felt stuck because I didn’t want to cause any problems, he asked permission to contact some investors to get their input on my property. Because of his persistence & council, I was able to sell my property for $88,000 more than I would’ve gotten had I decided to accept the first offer. By receiving more money on my sale, I was able to buy my home in St Johns for all cash. Brian was so happy for me, even though my need for a small mortgage wasn’t needed anymore. He went above & beyond for me, he was always available to talk me through any questions or concerns & he advocated for me when I felt I couldn’t do it for myself.
