Diana Richardson with Favorite Grampy Travels is the BEST, and she tremendously helped us plan a last-minute (like LAST-minute, 10 days' notice) 3-day trip to Walt Disney World in the prime summer travel season during the FIFA World Cup. We had the best time, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish.I wanted to do 2 days in the parks and was thinking of staying in an off-site hotel "to save money," but Diana knew about an option to get FREE waterpark entry the day of on-property resort check-in, plus FREE mini golf, FREE parking, FREE transportation to the hotels, no resort fee, and 30-minute earlier entry to the parks. She was going to book us as a family of 4, but then I added a fifth guest at the last-minute. She was able to quickly find a different property that allowed 5 guests. When I checked into the Port Orleans Riverside resort, they said, "Oh, you got building number xx!" and I said "what does that mean 🤔?" They explained that particular building was highly requested because it was steps away from the first bus stop of the morning and the first bus drop off at night, so all the Disney insiders know it. Diana knew to book us in that lodge, and our trip was measurably greater because of it.We are not early risers, but being close enough to the bus stop and getting on the first bus allowed us to get into the Magic Kingdom 45 minutes before the general public, hop in line for a ride that has a traditionally long wait time, and then move to other rides quickly and strategically. With a lightning lane pass, which Diana guided us through, we rode 11 rides and saw a few other attractions on a busy June day!Diana was available to answer questions at any time during the trip and knew all the best food places too, as she's been to many of them herself (she's local to the Orlando area so goes often). Using her service helped us save not only money, but valuable time that, without her guidance, would have been wasted transporting from off-site, not getting early entry, and the domino effect of waiting in long lines.Disney itself exceeded expectations. I had lowered them, as I heard rumblings that things changed after covid. However, this could not be more incorrect. The customer service is top tier, and almost every interaction with dozens of staff in the 3 days we were there was above-and-beyond helpful. If you are on the fence, I say GO, give your kids a great memory, and work with Diana to make sure your time and money are well-spent. You will not be disappointed you had an expert help with a once-in-a-lifetime trip.
