I have nothing but great things to say about Hi-Lite Coaching! My son (8th grader) first participated in a 7-week teen group because I signed him up in hopes of helping him work on social skills and begin thinking about goal-setting and responsibility. After the 7-week group, he ASKED to join the Continuation teen group and participate for 7 more weeks! That in and of itself was a huge win from Hi-Lite.I've seen so much growth/maturity in my son and improvement in his self-starting and ownership of schoolwork, chores, and extracurricular activities. Another great takeaway is that he's meet teens from outside of his school, which I think has helped him see that there's so much ahead of him and the world is much bigger than the middle school environment. He's formed friendships with many of his group mates and has nothing but positive things to say about his coach and the time he spends each week at the meetings.I highly recommend Hi-Lite Coaching to provide your teens with additional positive influences, outside of your own parenting and family. For whatever reason, non-parental encouragement tends to have a great impact because it is not just mom and dad "nagging" the teen to do this or that.
