We went camping here to go to the Tugboat Roundup in Waterford. Campground was very clean and quiet when we were there. They do a great job in keeping things clean and security was visible. We would def recommend this campground. Less

Large campground that has very wide driveways that are well maintained with no low branches. Very easy to get around with a 38ft Class A RV. Pull through sites are spacious. 70% of sites are permanent, rest are open. The playground area rec center and waterpark are absolutely amazing for families. Had a great time. It’s nice and quiet at night.Cabins were adorable, spacious, updated, clean, and had just about everything. A bit pricey, but not far off in comparison to AirBnB in the area.Cons: a lot of golf carts roaming around at night, public bathrooms/showers can use updates. Wi-Fi is poor. Less

Sizeable flat sites. Great water features. Good food truck. Some very good staff members. (Polite and helpful.) Pretty quick to address issues you inform them of. Lots of friendly campers encountered. Less

I was a little disappointed when we got there after a storm. The cabin that we rented was surrounded by water, like the cabin was floating in a pond. It sits in a hole and was muddy the whole weekend. I had to dig a trench over the bank to get some of it to drain so we could get in and out of the cabin without getting wet. The cabin was rustic, and had a definite slope to it, probably from it sitting in a drainage path. It was way to close to other people's cabins and campers which I didn't understand there was a lot of empty space on the property. The air conditioner was moldy. The bees and wasps (yellow jacks and we had white faced hornets at the cabin) around the whole campground were alarming. Lucky none of us are allergic. The water activities we amazing. So much fun. They had a foam party which was great but seemed a little unorganized. The arcade was disappointing as well. Half of the machine we put money into didn't work. All in all we had fun ( my daughter is 5 so she finds joy in the litter things) but this place could use some upgrades. Less

We were recommended Deer Run by a friend, and we want to extend that recommendation to others. Great location, just enough away from everything, but still close enough to run into Mechanicville or Clifton Park for any needs.
