I don’t write reviews often, but Fixed On Fitness deserves one.I’m relatively new to the area and joined about four months ago. If I’m being honest, I hate being the new person. Walking into a new gym can be intimidating, especially when you don’t know anyone, but I felt welcomed from the very beginning.I religiously go to the 5 AM class, and let me tell you… getting out of bed at 4:30 isn’t easy. Somehow this gym makes me want to keep showing up.One of my favorite things is that there are some seriously elite lifters there. Instead of feeling intimidated, it motivates you to work harder. There’s none of that “gym bro” mentality you might expect at a heavy lifting gym. Everyone wants to see everyone else succeed.Over the last few months, I’ve made genuine friends. We push each other to lift heavier, encourage each other through tough workouts, and celebrate each other’s wins. I’ll never forget hitting a deadlift PR and hearing the entire gym cheering me on. It honestly felt like I had my own cheering section, and that’s something I’ll always remember.Josh is incredibly knowledgeable. Every workout feels like you’re getting personal training while still enjoying the energy of a group class. He pays attention to everyone and genuinely wants you to improve.I also have to mention Kenzie. She works out with us in the 5 AM class, and I honestly think that’s what makes them such a great duo. It’s one thing to coach people, but it’s another to be right there putting in the work alongside everyone else. Between seeing them in the gym, listening to their podcast, and watching the healthy lifestyle they live every day, you can tell they truly practice what they preach. The biggest compliment I can give this gym is that it feels like family. There are members who have been there for years, and they welcome every new person like they’ve known them forever.Joining Fixed On Fitness has honestly been one of the best decisions I’ve made since moving to the Pace area. I’m stronger than I’ve ever been, I’ve met some incredible people, and I actually look forward to going to the gym—even at 5 AM. I don’t see myself leaving anytime soon.
