We did a complete backyard demo and remodel. We tore up the entire yard, hardscape and soft scape and took down some trees. Green and rock came in with a very competitive bid, and I really appreciated the way they broke down every cost by line item so you could see where the money was being spent if changes needed to be made in the bid. Our final project included extensive soft and hardscape as well as the installation of second story decking, and a fire pit, and hot tub and fountain Kevin Monroy, the project manager, was awesome to work with. He was very professional very communicative, always responded quickly to text or emails. He was always very on top of things and moved the project along at a speed I never have experienced working with other contractors on projects. He clearly had the whole project thought through and always made sure that everything was ready to go for whatever the next step was. Anytime there were any questions or issues he was on top of it. He also has a very good eye for design and was creative and thought outside the box when it came to some decision-making during the process. In addition, he was always thinking ahead in order to prevent a potential issue if you could foresee it. He meshed very well with all of his workers and you could tell they had a lot of respect for him. I would highly recommend Green and Rock for any landscape project, no matter how little or big.

We had a great experience with Green and Rock on our backyard - then frontyard - remodel. We decided to do a lot of hardscaping in the backyard and Manuel and Alex helped the ideas come together using our basic ideas. Because things were going so well in the back, we decided to clean up the front that was covered with weeds. We were happy that they used some of our backyard roses in the front and some of our front yard hydrangea in the back. They also found homes for a lot of succulents. Our yards are beautiful. It is worth mentioning that the price increased but it is our own fault - we kept adding to the job. I would recommend them without hesitation. They were a pleasure to work with.

Manuel is very Punctual, he provides same day estimates, and his start times and dates are always on par. the jobs are kept tidy and he leaves without a trace.

Manuel and team are truly fantastic . We had an extremely large landscape project with hard scapes ( paths walls , deck, lighting , swing structure, fencing ) and a lot of planting as well. There was great attention to detail , a very polite crew , very easy to communicate to. We had terrible cold rainy weather and they still met schedules and met our needs . We loved the sub contractors as well . Very high quality work . Highly recommend .

Manuel and his team were always working to give us the best result for our yards. They followed the plans but made many constructive, logical and well thought out recommendations to our overall design. Always accessible and willing to discuss the project, we ended with a front and back yard that exceeded even our wildest dreams. The pergola that was installed is stunning. The water wall was creatively installed and stands out in the backyard. Manuel continues to check in to make sure we are satisfied with the results and is working with us to make changes to the planting plan. We have also retained Green & Rock to continue the maintenance (not the gardening) on the yard. We recommend Green & Rock and Manuel Salazar without condition and will retain them again for our next project.

We worked with Manuel and his Green & Rock team on a complete re-do of our front yard. They did demolition and excavation of the whole yard (including existing driveway, walkway, lawn and plants). They then installed pavers on the driveway and walkway area; installed a new lawn sprinkler system and drip system for the new drought-tolerant plants; prepped the soil and planted the plants and sod; installed stepping stone walkway and stone-and -gravel sitting area; laid bark and cobblestone ground covers--all per our landscape design. Green & Rock employees were very respectful, and our neighbors were impressed with how quickly they completed our project, while keeping the whole area safe and clean daily. Manuel and his leads were all very responsive. The work quality was all excellent. We would use Green & Rock again! We highly recommend them.
