Great doctor, very friendly and straightforward. Went to him for my knee after multiple recommendations. When it was likely that surgery was needed, he didn't continue treatment to avoid doing the surgery, like some doctors I've seen in the past. In fact, he got me in for surgery within a couple of weeks. After surgery in mid-April, I'm pretty much back to normal already. No lingering pain or loss of motion. Definitely will see him for future issues.

Dr. Messner is great doctor he is very knowledgeable & professional. He did a great job with the surgery on my hand & I’ve never had a problem since. I highly recommend him.

Great, competent physician. Totally trust his ortho exams. But pain management, oh hell no! He told me he could “only prescribe drug X” (non narcotic) 2 days after a complete bone fracture. I’ve had multiple bone fractures and have never been subscribed such a low grade useless drug!!!! If I need surgery, it won’t be with him! Too scared of having inadequate pain relief

I had a spiral fractured fibula and broke the outer ends of the tibia, such that it displaced from my ankle and required a steel plate and ten screws. Within one year of surgery I was running half-marathon competitive races.
