We stayed in one of tiny houses - Barrel Cactus (first one in row). Very easy to find it, great location just as you coming to town from West side. We were very impressed how well this house is designed and very practical in use. Lots of counter space in kitchen for preparing whatever we needed. Very nice shower and spacious enough bathroom. It took a little bit figuring where to put suitcases (it’s under bed rolling shelf 😁). Wonderful seating area outside on deck. The only negative I can say was that for very nice dark sky area, light on next door house was right in our bedroom window ( blinds did ok but for dark room sleepers it was too bright) - it would be nice to have those motion detection.We would definitely stay there again, great communication all the way through and very well maintained. These modern cabins are thoughtfully-designed gems --- from their orientation toward the mountains, natural grain shiplap walls and ceilings, tasteful decor, a deck with sliding doors that draws the terrain straight into the cabin. Escalantes Escapes Tiny House was an absolute treasure! We had stayed for 4 days in a typical 2 bedroom VRBO condo which was fantastic, BUT this Tiny House was beyond our dreams wonderful. The design was cozy and so efficient! The decor was lovely in a Swedish color and style. We were comfortable anywhere in the home. They thought of everything we would need. We made breakfast in the lovely kitchen; stored supplies in refrigerator and were so pleased with how immaculate the entire house was. The cedar walls were gorgeous. We enjoyed coffee outside each morning and a campfire one night. After a long, fantastic day of hiking adventures, we looked forward to returning to Escalante Escapes. Bed was so comfortable, pillows and linen divine. We can't say enough! We would return, should we be in the area!!! Thank you so much!!! Easy to check in and check out as well. We stayed here last minute for Memorial Day weekend. It was perfect. The house had everything (even card games) we needed. The only thing it was missing was cooking oil and spices. We had to pick some up athe grocery store. The house was spotless. We used the outdoor grill every night. We sat by the fireplace every night until we were ready for bed. There was a great view of mountains in the back. It was located a few blocks from downtown Escalante which is a small town. Remember some stores are closed on Sunday but the main gas station was open. Less

This was our 2nd year of staying at Escalante Escapes and it did not disappoint. The tiny home was very clean, comfortable for 3 adults (multiple sleeping options, plenty of seating options in the tiny and out on the deck and by the fire pit). The fully stocked kitchen with cook top, fridge and dishwasher were great—we were able to grocery shop and cook/grill a few times. The AC was cold and we were able to set it to make sure that it would be the right temperature for us when we returned from a long, hot hiking day. There was also a washer and dryer (Tide free and clear pods were provided) which was a godsend after a week of camping! Communicating with the Escalante Escapes was easy, they were very responsive via email and text. I highly recommend Escalante Escapes and we will definitely be back on our next trip! Less

This was our first time staying in a tiny home and we loved every minute of it. There were five of us, three of which are teenagers, and though the fit was tight, it was very doable. I did not realize the loft upstairs had a low ceiling but the teens thought it was cool so no issue. The view outside of the sliding glass doors was phenomenal and we enjoyed the outdoor fire pit nightly. The grounds were very well kept. The communication and accessibility of management was perfect. We stayed in the Star Lily, and it was perfect for our family of four. Even though it is a tiny home, it is very well thought out. Plenty of space for our kids to sleep in the bunk bed room and excellent queen bed accomodations for my wife and me. The kitchen, while small had everything we needed to cook breakfast, including the ability to bake cinnamon rolls in the convection oven/microwave. There was a washer and dryer which allowed us to get some laundry loads done before heading out, which was incredibly convenient. I slept so well as it was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Perfectly located to local restaurants, grocery store, gas station, and of course the Dry Forks and Peekaboo slot canyons trails. If I'm ever lucky enough to return to the area, I'll be staying here. We stayed here during cold weather, and even in intermittent power outages, Micah was super responsive and checked in to see if we were warm enough (we were!). My daughter loved the little bunk room in the Prickly Pear. The cabins seem really well cared for and included a washer and dryer, which was very useful. The tiny home village was close to the main road with restaurants and a store. It was close to hole in the rock road which is the main road to all the wonderful hiking and slot canyons near by. Food was about a 10 minute walk to town. I highly recommend Escalante Outfitters for cappuccinos and fresh baked goods in the morning and for great pizza and sandwiches in the evening (everything closes about 9:00 pm.) We had a little difficulty operating the combo washer and dryer (never used one before); Only suggestion is that you add tea to the offerings. Less

The location is set back off the highway. As you approach you may wonder if your in the right place. These tiny homes were perfectly designed and appointed to provide you a home away from home. Comfy beds, in-unit laundry, Nice TV with separate BOSE speaker (Bluetooth for music if you want), complete kitchen with good size fridge, covered deck with a clean grill and comfortable seating plus a fire pit below that with more seating to enjoy the stars at night or the daytime views in a very quiet setting. Get some firewood and enjoy that feature for at least one starry night. The only thing we missed having was a toaster... that's pretty minor! We didn't see anything close to this nice in Escalante or anywhere else on our trip through Utah. Even the parking and landscaping was well designed and thought out. Less

A great little community of tiny homes that both have great views and plenty of space to make yourself comfortable. The tiny home we stayed in was very clean and well appointed upon our arrival. There is a near full size kitchen and a small washer/ dryer, the bathroom is a good size and well stocked with linens. The master bedroom was a good size. With that being said the views from the back of the tiny house are amazing and with the lack of light pollution the stars are brilliant at night. We are here now & having the BEST time (Foxtail). This place is super clean, modern, well appointed & has the best/most peaceful views. The owners were very responsive when we had one minor issue. I highly recommend as a home base for exploring the area as amazing hikes & adventures are nearby. Very close to town & there are a few awesome spots. Escalante escapes has GREAT salads & pizza (gluten free too) & also make their own desserts. Nemo’s for ice cream is a must. We spent six nights in Tumbleweed. The house and amenities are so well thought out! Our vacation was so different than it would have been if we had chosen other locations. We could cook most of our meals but have some nice dinners in town. We hiked near and far and enjoyed the firepit and patio, even utensils to toast marshmallows.
