I have loved my workouts at R6 CrossFit. I was intimidated to tryout a CrossFit gym after not weight lifting for a few years. Every coach has been welcoming and there is always a modification when trying out a new movement. I joined the gym when I was 10 months postpartum and it was the best decision that I could have made!

R6 CrossFit in Turlock has a motivating vibe that totally matches the town’s fitness scene. I really appreciate the friendly environment, which helps me and others push ourselves towards a healthier lifestyle, especially given the current economy. Coach Isabel is great she makes it fun while paying attention to everyone who may need help . It’s somewhat budget-friendly, but the friendly and motivating atmosphere makes it worth it.

The community at R_6 CrossFit is immaculate! Marcos is a great coach! He helped me with my snatches, one of the hardest movement in CrossFit! He gave ideas to better my form and stayed until I got it down! I have a lot to work on but I’ve came a long way in 6 months. CrossFit does help you on an everyday lifestyle and help with mobility, which we lose as the years go by. I love CrossFit and everyone at R_6!

Marcos is a wonderfully supportive and knowledgeable coach. I always feel empowered in the gym, even when I’m still learning new skills or being careful with an injury; all the coaches are always open to help with scaling to meet my abilities and needs so I can keep building my strength. I also love that the gym is baby friendly! I would never have been able to start Crossfit if I couldn’t bring my son along, and the coaches and other gym-goers are always so welcoming to the both of us. I would give ten stars if I could!

We drop-in at R6 occasionally when in town. The owners are really great and very responsive when we reach out before our trip. The facility is well equipped, clean, and the coaching and programming is great. Members are also very welcoming and friendly. Thankful to have this place available when we’re in Turlock.

Candice has always made me feel welcome and successful while at R6. Her coaching and recommendations are always spot on. The way she describes the movements (like getting the swing down) helps me conceptually understand the movement and translate it to practice. She is always encouraging and positive. Friendly and welcoming are so important in a gym that is so interactive. R6 coaches are amazing trainers. There is a good balance in the workouts with cardio and strength training. It's an amazing gym.
