These guys are actual superheroes. I live in a third floor of an apartment in a really old building with tight, winding staircases. No elevator, no easy access, just stairs. I had bought this giant, heavy wooden dining table and a huge L shaped couch over the years, and I was dreading having to get them out. Two other moving companies actually refused the job when I told them about the stairs. Midland Transit took the job without a second thought. Three guys showed up early on a Saturday morning, took one look at the stairs, and just started strategizing. They actually took the legs off my couch and removed the door off its hinges just to get an extra inch of clearance. They strapped the heavy stuff to their backs and navigated those winding steps without letting the furniture touch the walls once. It was a serious physical workout, and they were dripping sweat, but they never stopped smiling or being polite. When we finally got to my new place, which thankfully was a ground floor unit, they put everything exactly where I wanted it and reassembled the couch and the door perfectly. I made sure to buy them all lunch and tip them well because the amount of hard physical labor they put in was just off the charts. If they can handle my nightmare apartment, they can literally handle anything you throw at them.
