UPDATE:I have always had a great experience at Legacy Dental from start to finish. The staff at the front desk are friendly and welcoming, and my last cleaning with Lucian was excellent. He was incredibly thorough and meticulous, while also explaining what he was doing along each step of the way. He's also a funny guy, which definitely made the appointment go by quickly!At my last visit, I was really impressed by how advanced the office is, both in their equipment and the way they approach dental care. They took X-rays with a 360-degree machine, created a digital image of my teeth with an intraoral scanner, and I got to experience the Airflow dental treatment for the first time (which was cool being able to actually see the before-and-after difference from cleaning).Dr. Sunyoto is easygoing, knowledgeable, and has a great chair side manner. He is professional yet compassionate, while also taking the time to talk through my oral health and answer any of my questions.If I lived in Pasadena or the surrounding area, Legacy Dental would absolutely be my regular dentist. Even though I don't live locally, I feel very comfortable knowing that the next time I need dental work in the area, I can count on their care.---If I’m ever in LA and due for a cleaning, I head straight to Cal Dental Pasadena. I truly can't say enough good things about this place. Dr. Sunyoto goes above and beyond! His gentle yet meticulous approach makes every visit feel both comfortable and thorough. He never rushes through cleanings or exams, always taking the time to answer questions and address concerns with care. I appreciate that kind of attentiveness because it gives me confidence in his work. His staff is also incredibly friendly and welcoming. My name is Janet and I came to the Legacy Dental office in Pasadena because of their 5 star reviews, since I had a severely damaged upper molar that needed a root canal and crown, and I wanted to get the procedure at an office that does both and that I could trust.As a patient without insurance I was told that I could have a payment plan option, because they work with Cherry and Care Credit, and David from the front desk was so nice, helpful, and patient on assisting me with this process and answering all the questions I had.If you want to feel welcomed at a dental office and have a caring person help you out with any questions, David is your man.For the initial consultation Emily took my x-rays and she was very kind, friendly and made me feel at ease.And she also assisted Dr. Sean when I got my root canal and crown procedure done 2 days later.Emily was very sweet, attentive, and made me feel comfortable throughout the procedure, and she also took the time to answer all my questions and concerns regarding the procedure.Dr. Sean performed my procedure and it was painless and smooth. And I felt relaxed once he started working on my tooth because I knew I was in good hands. He had a calming energy and confidence, which put my mind at ease.And I got my root canal surgery and crown placement in 3 hours.Talk about efficiency!Everyone in the office was extremely nice and helpful, and now I understand why they have so many great reviews.I am recommending this dental office to my coworkers and everyone I know.They totally earned all of these 5 stars!

I have had such a wonderful experience with Legacy Dental Pasadena. I was nervous to start Invisalign because I had had metal braces as a teen and didn’t know if it would work as well. But this experience has totally changed my opinion! Not only are my teeth already improving in month 2, the care and customization they provide is exceptional. Dr. Sunyoto and his team made me feel comfortable immediately and were sensitive to my needs. I booked a job and had to be photographed, and Dr. Sunyoto was flexible and accommodating with any changes I needed. Literally they fit me in the next day, and made sure I was camera ready.I feel really lucky to have found such a great practice. Highly recommend!

Super clean place, love how organized everything is. The staff's really friendly. Had a cleaning and exam done. They use tech that's easy to understand, like cool 3D scans of my teeth. Definitely the go-to for dental implants in the Pasadena community. Highly recommend.

Just had my first dental filling done, and it went by really quickly with no pain. They took the time to make me feel comfortable before, during, and after the procedure, explaining what they were doing throughout the process. They even remembered details about me from my last visit and asked followup questions about my life, making me feel like I was talking to both a friend and a professional. You are in great hands if you come here!
