I have been coached by Jamie Fuller at 3 gyms over the past 15 plus years. When I started with him, I was a skinny runner and novice yogi who knew nothing about other modes of fitness, especially nothing dealing with weights. With Jamie's help, I have increased my strength greatly, have learned how to lift and move in ways that are healthy and sustainable for my body, and I've had a hell of a good time. I've watched Jamie grow professionally and as a human being over this time. I recently had the chance to watch him as he coached a couple of young volleyball players while simultaneously checking in on 3 adult individual design clients, and keeping up with the workout I was doing. During the whole time, he was coaching, encouraging, laughing, and had 360 degree awareness of what was going on around him. I see this every day. He also seeks to understand who each of us are as humans and he supports us in and out of the gym.Octane is the Cheers of gyms. Everybody knows your name. People, myself very much included, love coming here. We work our asses off and we do it in good humor with a lot of mutual support.Jamie has assembled a great group of coaches; Trevor, Abbie, and Jason whose skill sets are complimentary to his. I trust each of them to keep me safe and advancing.Bottom line, this place keeps me strong, healthy, engaged, connected, and laughing. I couldn't recommend it more!
