We had a broken window bracket due to high winds throwing the window open. They fixed it quickly, and replaced both brackets on the window with stronger, better quality restricted versions. Friendly, efficient service, would recommend and use again!

Gary’s team supplied and fitted a wet room safety floor and safety shower enclosure and installed cladding onto existing tiles.Everything was completed on time and to a high specification and I could not fault the customer service.Gary even came back later himself to sort out a sticking shower lever which they had not even supplied or fitted and did not charge me for the work.I would definitely use this firm for any future work I require and would recommend them.

5/5 Stars – I cannot recommend A Slater & Son highly enough! We were dealing with a condensation damp issue and had been quoted a massive £2,500 by another company to fix it.When we spoke to A Slater & Son, they completely broke the mould. Instead of trying to book a job and make a quick profit, they gave us honest, down-to-earth expert advice on how we could tackle the condensation ourselves on a DIY budget. They literally saved us thousands of pounds. It is incredibly refreshing to find a professional with this level of authenticity and integrity. If you want a trustworthy, genuine expert who truly looks out for people, look no further than A Slater & Son!

Everyone we have met has been so lovely, kind and caring. They have all wanted to go above and beyond to help us come up with ideas to support our disabled family before and during the build including unexpected health issues that interrupted them. We now have a safe new entrance with a big disabled ramp, new garden gates and new steps in the garden. The quality of their work is excellent. Would highly recommend and will come back for future work when needed. (Just a tip when showing appreciation, a frothy coffee always puts a smile on their faces.)
