I had been looking into installing permanent holiday/accent lighting on my house for quite some time. I was tired of the dreaded task of installing and removing Christmas lights every year especially during colder weather.After researching several different styles of lights and brands, I came across Bright Home Lights. I am very pleased with my decision.The kit that I purchased came nicely packaged and had more than enough parts and pieces for me to complete the install that I was looking for.I was able to install the lights myself without hiring a professional, and the installation came out very clean looking.I use the lights every day, whether it is for accent lighting on my house or for whatever holiday or special occasion there is at the time.At the moment, I just pick from the multitude of presets that come loaded in the Bright Home Lights application. At some point, I may venture into coming up with my own presets which the application allows for you to do.If you are looking for permanent holiday/accent lighting, you won't be disappointed in your decision if you go with Bright Home Lights.

We did a full DIY a few years ago now and these lights are top quality and so easy to use. I am a bit of a tinkerer, so I took on the challenge of building my own control box, but the lights and channels made that part of the project so easy.We live in the Phoenix metropolitan area, so the environment is not friendly and these lights have held up great. No hazing, no cracking, no yellowing.The only criticism I might have would be the size of the waterproof string connectors and available voltage injector tees. If you have long runs, getting more than a couple voltage injection cables along with the string connectors is very challenging.All in all though, they were fairly priced and great quality.

Bright Home Lights are incredible. My home had beautiful accent lighting and it was simple DIY. The quality of the materials including the aluminum and LEDs are great. Many homes are installing the inexpensive temporary led lights. You can see the wire, LEDs often break, and the LED spacing is not consistent. Many people in my neighborhood have reached out to learn about my lights.

I received my shipment fast and once they arrived I started the install which was super easy, if you are good with your hands. Also the lighting tracks match my soffit perfect. I've had these lights up for almost a year so far and absolutely love them! Now it seems like the entire street has them up also but I believe they are the cheap kind which aren't as bright and don't have as many actual lights in each strip.

After looking into permanent holiday lighting and several hours of YouTube reviews, I decided on a kit from Bright Home Lights. Their products are professional grade and quality. I have a very simple setup when it came to the install. It took two nights after work. The lights are spaced just far enough apart that it provides much smoother even lighting than other light kits that are spread much further apart and look like mini flood lights. I know that is very subjective, but I like the look. The controller app is very easy to use and the controller itself works on WiFi or Ethernet connection. I have my controller connected with Ethernet since I have signal issues, the controller is more responsive with a wired connection. The controller runs on WLED which is pretty much the standard for a lot of those pixel holiday shows you see on Instagram and YouTube, it allows the unit to communicate with Xlights which is where you build your display. Support is also very good, they respond quickly. I had a question on power injection and within a few hours I had a response from a team member and we worked out my question before I had to do a lot of trial and error during the install. If you want to have a quality professional grade product that you can buy direct, this is it.

Delivery was quick, installation and setup was easy (self install), and I have no complaints so far (installed December 2025). Cost was less than half of what I would have paid to hire someone.The lights are nice. The connectors are nice. Not all companies offer the dedicated warm white LED. Having it makes a bigger difference than I realized. One of their lighting presets uses a mix of the warm white and the RGB white, and it is probably my favorite.I like the track profile a lot. It’s smaller than the other brand I was considering, but there’s still plenty of room for running extra power cables if you need to inject power on a long run. They were easy to cut with snips, so I never needed a saw.The app works well, but I admit I need to play around with it a little more. I’ve only done some basic scheduling. My only minor issue is that I typically need to close and reopen the app when I want to control the lights (takes 2 seconds). I’m not sure if it is caused by me leaving the house/wifi between uses or if it is caused by the controller resetting (I have an automatic switch that completely cuts power to the system during the day).Overall, I think it’s a great system, and I’m really looking forward to not hanging Christmas lights each year.One note on the attached photo, I likely had the brightness all the way up. You can easily adjust it down if you don’t want to flood your house with that much light.One more note…the position and angle of the light track can completely change the look, so I recommend playing with the position of one short section of lights before committing to mounting the rest. Specifically, the distance they are mounted from the house makes a big difference. And don’t shine them straight out at the street unless you’re looking for that liquor store vibe.

Outstanding service and quality products. Selected BHL over the other options because they had better light density. After doing the length calculations for my house I placed the order. The kits made the process super easy and it came with everything I needed. Selected the custom track color and they sent me a paint sample kit with dozens of colors. Found the right colors and they were able to split the order to accommodate two different colors. Shipping took a while, but that's to be expected when custom painting several hundred feet of track. After it arrived the testing and install went great. As for the customer service, I had a number of questions and each time the team responded right away and were super friendly. Definitely not the big company runaround - very personal service, which is hard to find. This is a great small business that really appreciates their customers and will do anything to make sure your lighting solution is exactly what you want. Looking forward to the upcoming holidays where I can sport my new install!

I bought BHL’s controller. They have been very helpful assisting me set up my lights. The lights were not purchased with them, that didnt stop them from helping me. They even assisted me when I reset the controller to factory specs, not realizing all the loaded software would be wiped out. I’m happy with the service they have provided me. I highly recommend them.

You really can’t beat these permanent lights. Compared to other systems I looked at, Bright Home Lights stand out as far superior in both quality and overall design.If you have even a little DIY experience, installation is very doable. I have a two-story split-level home and was able to install everything myself and get a clean, professional look.One of the best features is how they tuck neatly under the eaves. You can barely see them when they’re off—especially since they match the color of my gutters—so they don’t look like an eyesore the way traditional holiday lights can when left up year-round.It’s been awesome being able to switch up colors throughout the year for holidays, birthdays, or just for some ambient lighting. We’ve got ours set on timers, which makes it even better—set it and forget it.The build quality is solid, and their customer support has been excellent whenever I’ve needed help. With the newer software updates coming out, I think the LED programming side is only going to get easier for everyone.These are definitely an investment worth making if you put up and take down holiday lights every year. Do it once and never worry about it again!

I purchased the light package last September and had them installed within a week! I did the inside electrical and my kids did the ladder work. I've had a few mixups ( self induced I might add) but after a call, your staff walked me through fixing it! I'm learning to not just push buttons anymore and instead do more research before hitting save. I would definitely buy from Brighthome lights again. 5 stars for quality of lights and 10 stars for the support team.

Professional quality lights at a much lower price than getting them installed professionally. I saved 3000-4000 putting up bright home lights compared to what multiple companies quoted me. Most of those companies have 5 lights per strip instead of 10 with bright home lights, so you get twice as many lights too. It takes a bit of time to install yourself, but the savings are worth it. Watch a few youtube videos first to give you some ideas of how to install them faster.The customer service has been excellent. They were quickly responsive and willing to put in extra effort to help troubleshoot a problem, and even checked back a week later to make sure everything was still good. Highly recommended!

The app is based on WLED but if you buy the Bright Home Lights hardware, this is literally plug and play. Their website has a wealth of information on how to both install the hardware and also manage the software. On top of the standard WLED features, the app offers additional customizations that makes it a bit unique because WLED is a bit complex at first. I love it and I’ve had such an easy time with the app. Caveats to all of this: this is a utility app, it’s not designed to have a pretty form factor. It’s designed to do what it does and it does a great job at that!

I loved my experience with Charles from Bright Home Lights. I ordered a new controller from him for my existing puck lights and it was plug and play and I was running in no time. The resources that they have available on their site are very helpful for newbs like me!I had some extra questions about setting up some landscaping lighting and tapping into the power supply and I was able to communicate directly with Charles via email and he was so helpful way beyond what I would have imagined! I would 100% recommend working with Bright Home Lights as they stand behind their products!(Note - Bright Home Lights uses 10 LEDs per meter as opposed to my 5, so their setup is even more immersive!)
