Starfish Clayton has been almost a second home to both my kids. The environment is welcoming and warm, staff are kind, helpful, and always willing to help. My wife and I love that Starfish Clayton incorporates the cultures of all the kids, makes them feel included in activities. Thanks for all the amazing work you guys do every year!

We love Clayton South ELC, the facilities are well maintained and mostly because our little one loves the educators. Really helps with the transition and drop offs in a household with working parents! In a quiet street, next to a reserve many excursions to explore nature! Sad that the beautiful tree out front had to be removed (for safety reasons) highly recommended centre!

Awesome centre..We absolutely love this daycare! My daughter looks forward to going every single day. The educators are truly amazing — caring, patient, and incredibly attentive to each child’s needs. It’s clear they put their hearts into everything they do, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the safe, nurturing, and joyful environment they’ve created. Seeing how much my daughter has grown, learned, and thrived here makes us so thankful to have found such a wonderful place.

After researching and touring nearly 10 childcare centres in the area, I chose Starfish ELC in Clayton South—and three years on, I’m still incredibly happy with that decision. What stood out from the start was their genuine, family-based mindset. The educators treat my two toddlers with the same care and warmth they would give their own children.Many of the staff have been with the centre for years, which speaks volumes about the culture and stability here. That consistency has made a real difference in helping my kids feel safe, nurtured, and excited to go each day.The management team is equally impressive—approachable, accommodating, and always open to feedback or discussion. I truly feel like we’re part of a community, not just clients. I couldn’t recommend Starfish more highly to any parent looking for a centre where children are not just cared for, but genuinely loved.
