I had to have my left foot amputated. I did a tremendous amount of research and found out about a procedure called RPNI which deals with the nerves after the amputation. In my research I found out that the number one rated doctor was Dr Chang out of UT southwestern. I had a meeting with him and during that meeting he stated he could not do the surgery where my orthopedic surgeon was going and that he could recommend a doctor to do that procedure for me. His recommendation was for Dr Ryan Constantine. After a foot amputation the normal stay in a hospital is 5 to 7 days. I was in and out of the hospital in 49 hours. I had absolutely no pain whatsoever after the surgery and 3 weeks later I can still say the same thing. Dr Constantine went Way beyond all expectations to be able to perform that surgery in the same hospital that my orthopedic was going to perform the surgery in. His his office went way beyond normal work issues and handled mountains of paperwork just to get Dr Constantine permission to operate in that hospital. Can't say enough about the staff and Doctor Constantine himself.

I had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Constantine. I told him to go ahead and setup the surgery for my hand as soon as possible. In fact I have already referred another person for Dr. Constantine to treat. I would not hesitate to use him again if a situation arose that he could help me with.
