I recently had the pleasure of working with Hermann and his team for a second time. When water started dripping into my garage from the ceiling, I knew I needed serious help. Hermann's team discovered that the shower had been improperly built leading to a slow leak that ended up rotting the beams and joists below the shower and eventually coming through the ceiling below. They were able to provide a clear vision of what to expect during the repair work which included demo'ing and rebuilding the bathroom and garage ceiling. In addition to painting the outside of the house, they replaced the front porch ceiling and lighting, and replaced the old cement driveway with a new one. We are very pleased in our decision to hire HG&CO for our master bath remodel. Herman, the owner, is an excellent communicator, attentive and has a great eye for design (which was an area we welcomed!). Herman and team were very efficient in sourcing and requesting several samples to help us find the perfect floor and shower tiles. They found a beautiful terrazzo tile that we're still over the moon about. Their granite guy cut us a custom countertop for our vanity. Our Plano house had a leak in the master bath shower. It required that the bottom of the shower be demo’d and a new shower pan be installed along with matching tile. I talked to 4 other companies before I was recommended Herman’s services by a friend of ours. Herman took a consultative approach and provided me a price that I think was completely fair. The other contractors suggested cutting corners while still charging me as much as Herman did. We had a few minor concerns regarding the installation of the tile, and a quick call to Herman (he’s very responsive on the phone) quickly rectified the issues to my liking.
