Coming from someone who has struggled with my perception of dentists throughout my life, it came as a surprise to finally feel welcome and genuinely cared for at the dentists office. Childhood dental trauma and multiple negative experiences at other Charlotte area dentists left me extremely hesitant for each upcoming appointment. I would agonize for days mentally to the point of making myself sick. Dental care should never ever feel that way. I was very up front with Dr. Porter about the effect that previous negative experiences have had on me. His response was that of a genuine desire to help. That coupled with the warmth of his supporting staff makes me feel at ease for each visit. Everyone I’ve encountered at Charlotte Dental Arts has been wonderful, but I’ve been especially impressed with both Kathryn and Juli. Kathryn is one of the warmest people you’ll ever meet. And Juli- I can’t say enough good things about her. She’s helpful, super sincere, and kind. Honestly, the whole staff has an aura of sincerity about them.
