So, I've been to dozens of dentists in my life in various states, and I've never received this level of care. I have issues with anxiety, medical, and financial trauma, and I was very worried about my upcoming appointment.My first interaction at the desk was extremely warm and friendly. The person checking me in cleared up some stuff about my insurance, as I was worried about being charged wrongly, and chitchated with me. This might not seem like much, but all that casual conversation makes a huge difference to somebody like me who feels out of place everywhere.The Dental assistant, Dylan, was super helpful in easing my anxiety by just keeping the conversation going and acting comfortably around me. Very much appreciate that he asked about pronouns as well. Destinee was also quite nice to talk with.Finally, Dr. Sharifi was super kind, super friendly, and for once in the dental field, didn't make me uncomfortable in any way. I would give every employee and the doctor that I worked with 100/100 rating. I went under general anesthesia for 4 wisdom teeth extractions. The receptionist was kind, quick, and concise, all of the RNs and assistants that worked on me were caring, and kept me updated with each step of the procedure and the doctor had me in and out of his clinic in about an hour.The recovery was easy (as long as you follow their handouts and advice on pain management and hygiene). And several RNs followed up via phone call to check up on me and answered my questions about the recovery process.Lastly, I have to say, I was referred to another dental surgeon to have the work done and their consultation left with me more questions then answers, but luckily a family member recommended this clinic and I am so glad I decided to get treatment here.Thank you to all of the clinic staff and the doctor for keeping me in good hands! I was seen today to get a tooth extracted (first time). The front desk staff was really nice and welcoming. After I filled out paperwork she gave me a pamphlet that explains everything about the procedure and she told me to read it and ask questions before the procedure.Just a few minutes later a woman called me back (I’m pretty sure her name is Wendy). She walked in front of my while talking at me, did t introduce herself, and never looked me in the eye. She seemed to be rushing me the entire time, and I told her I wanted to read the pamphlet before getting g started. She told me I would have time to read it, but she got me set up on the chair and I asked for it again, and she said she would hand it to be before the doctor came in, but then immediately left to go get him. When he came in I told him that I never got to read it, and she said to him, she’ll have time to read it after the numbing medication. Surprisingly, they went straight into the procedure. I wasn’t able to ask any questions, I had no idea what was going on. At the end I was literally crying because I felt so unheard, and she never asked if I was okay. I asked her a question about my tooth, and she started to answer and then half way through explaining, she said, “just a minute “ and started typing on a computer. Another woman came in and took over, and she left. I was dumbfounded. It was a terrible experience, and I don’t even know if I’m doing anything right with my aftercare because no one explained anything to me!! I would never recommend this place to anyone! I hope Wendy gets some kind of questioning for her horrible behavior. I’m still so upset! Less

I have had the most amazing experience with this practice and would give it 10 stars if I could. I first met Dr. Kupfer in 2022 when we discussed and planned for me to have upper jaw surgery. For some context: in order to be ready for this surgery, I first needed to have braces for a couple of years, so there was a decent amount of time between meeting Dr. Kupfer and being ready for my surgery. From my first consultation all the way through my last appointment at Skyline, I felt heard, safe, and informed.I also met Mikaela early on in this journey, and she was always available to connect with whenever I had any questions or concerns, both pre- and post-op. She is extremely intelligent, and I felt reassured knowing that she was with me throughout this entire experience. There was another nurse who came in I forgot her name but she offered me a warm blanket & was also very welcoming. Dr. Sharifi was my oral surgeon and I have to say that he's as good as it gets. He was kind, compassionate, he communicated with me about what to expect and gave me my options. He extracted 7 teeth and was extremely gentle. 24 hours later and I only need ibuprofen and Tylenol.I had severe anxiety going in and his assistant was very sweet and understanding.I wish he had done my previous extractions. Awful experience after wisdom tooth removal. They don’t take pain management seriously at all. I’m in so much pain I can’t eat it hurts to chew. They only gave me pain meds for 3 days and I ran out over the weekend and in order to prescribe more pain meds they have to see you in person. I can’t afford to miss work just to see them every 3 days to refill pain meds. Ridiculous. Absolutely horrible experience. Go somewhere else where the doctors have some foresight and take pain management seriously. Less

Wow, wow, wow 🤩. It was my first tooth removal in the USA. I was nervous, mostly because I afraid of the local anesthetic and the numbing feeling on my throat, so on my consultation appointment I mentioned to Dr.Kupfer. He told me don’t worry you will not have that feeling. On the day of the tooth extraction I had amazing experience with doctor assistant Natalie and of course dr. Kupfer! Anesthetic was like never before just numb 1 tooth, extraction was fast, but the most amazing that after I had zero pain. Dr prescribed me just in case strong pain killers, but I even didn’t take ibuprofen, basically it felt like I didn’t have any procedure done. I was looking for a while to find a good doctor, because my dentist said I need professional extraction in case late to place implant. So I found probably best of the best! 🙏 Thank you. My 14 year old son had oral surgery performed by Dr. Reza Sharifi and he was so kind, gentle with my son, took the time to go over everything in detail at our pre-op appointment and it set both my son and I at ease. My 11 year old had an extra tooth in her jaw preventing her adult teeth from growing in. We had a consultation with Dr Sharifi. He explained the procedure to HER and made sure she understood and was comfortable. We had surgery the end of December 2022 and it went quickly and without issue. He called that evening to check on her. Her follow up was a week later and everything checked out OK. We'll be back when her wisdom teeth need to be removed. Less

This place deserved an award and 10 stars I've had a lot of dental work done in my 43yrs but this place is the best from start to finish I HIGHLY recommend Sunset Oral. The oral surgery team knows how to take care of the patient after 7 teeth extractions in one visit I'm up and ready to live a normal pain free life just some minor swelling that's common I feel great and will definitely be using this awesome place in the future if I ever need oral surgery in the future.
