My initial enquiry was handled promptly and professionally.Booking was straightforward, although I did need to follow up on the day to confirm the time slot. The appointment was later brought forward due to cancellations, which I agreed to.Kiln carried out the sweep. He was polite, professional and easy to deal with. He showed me the condition of the flue, which turned out to be relatively clean. The visit lasted around 25 minutes and the area was left clean and tidy. I did need to clarify on site that the chimney stack had been capped, as this did not appear to have been passed on in advance.The sweep has not resolved the odour, although I was informed beforehand that this would depend on the underlying cause and airflow. I had a few follow-up questions afterwards, and the company responded clearly in writing, which I appreciated.Overall, a professional service with some minor communication gaps, handled reasonably throughout.

Very happy to recommend Paul's service. Having stumbled across government recommendations and then done some research, I decided to have Sweep Smart sweep our two chimneys that haven't been swept in a long time despite regular, if occasional, use.From start to finish, SweepSmart are on the ball - communication is excellent, turned up exactly on time and the job was completed professionally without any mess.Having been concerned due to the age of the house, the lack of sweeping and various bits coming down the chimney over the years, I'm now reassured that my chimneys are in good working order.

Keil and his colleague came and swept the chimney of our log burner in February 2026, three years after they installed it. They did a first class job, tested the flue, cleaned up completely and provided a certificate for the work. We had not noticed any drop in performance but the improvement after the sweep was obvious and no doubt the log burner more efficient. I have every confidence in SweepSmart and would not look anywhere else for a totally professional service on anything to do with stoves, chimneys and fireplaces.
