The Friday after Thanksgiving called them because our furnace was not acting right. was told a service texh would be there between 2 - 3 that afternoon, but to our surprise the tech called around 11!!! there texh spent a solid hour and half diagnosing the issue and come to find out we needed a new furnace 😔😔😔 A salesmanship contacted us the following Monday and got the ball rolling on a new furnace. today they was finally a b le to install the new furnace and it is running flawlessly. thank you Austin Mike B. I initially called to have my heat looked at. While the technician was here he may have unintentionally knocked a wire loose in my furnace resulting in the air conditioning to no longer turn on. I was able to call them and get a hassle free hasty response back to resolve the issue. I really appreciate the level of professional this company brings to the table. Chris is really passionate about his work and does his very best to help you with your issue. I had an issue with a unit that he had never worked on before, but he called the manufacturers and tried to get to the bottom of the problem even when it was a totally new experience for him. Even though this has been a complete pain for everyone involved, including him, he has done everything he can to make it better. I really respect his work ethic and the fact that even with his experience, he recognizes that when he doesn’t know how to do something yet, he puts the customer first and gets help. Thank you!! I can’t say enough good things about this company. Our air conditioner was broken from a lightning strike in a storm. I called several places trying to get quotes. I called at 4pm in the afternoon. Every other company was 1-2 weeks out for even an estimate. Nicholson had someone out there at 8am the next morning so I could move things along with my insurance company. They helped every step of the way and answered all my questions. Even saved an installation date before I was done dealing with insurance just so I wouldn’t have to wait any longer than necessary when insurance finally approved it. Installers were very friendly and professional. They got everything done and working in the same day. I would highly highly recommend them to anyone. They will be the only company I use and recommend going forward for heating and cooling. Less

Chris was extremely helpful, he was able to assist with the communication between my home warranty company to get the parts for my HVAC system covered. He took time out of his personal day and went above and beyond to work through obstacles. Contacted them for price quote on installing new A/C and heat pump system in old house. Wil and owner came next day, quoted price next evening (which was lower then expected), ordered parts and system, installed and completed work within 2 weeks. Wil was excellent rep for quote and follow up. Workers were all very respectful and got after it. Job well done all around! New system is working great so far! This is the go to company. After a truly terrible experience with a home warranty company, Nicholson’s went above and beyond! They had Chris out the very next morning to diagnose the issue (keep in mind I called at 7PM because I was clearly losing my mind after four days of NO ac) and Will out later that SAME day to give me estimates. Will was phenomenal and made sure I understood all the crazy technical jargon and what to expect. Plus, he was fantastic around my crazy toddler and wild dog! They have my business hands down!! Less

Our Ac went out at 9 pm last night. My wife has MS, the heat stresses her system into major episodes. I messaged them this morning and they promptly called and let me know all the service techs were unavailable until tomorrow. I hate to say I was grumpy and said that won’t work. She then said if you can’t find anyone give us a call back and I said nope, I’ll find someone. Minutes later she calls back and said she’s got a tech and he can be here in minutes (WOW) I’m beside myself at this point. Outstanding customer service is something missing in todays society but not with these fine folks!!! Chris, Was here in 20 minutes. He’s the service manager but when he read my text he said he had to help! I can’t tell you how great my experience was with Chris & Nicholson!! This is the 3rd time I’ve used Nicholson since buying my home in 2018. Twice for the AC and once for the gas furnace. I’m very satisfied with their service. James was my technician this time and I couldn’t have asked for a better one. He was very polite, professional and had my system fixed within minutes. Me and my wife's AC stopped working the afternoon of the 29th of June 2023. After calling five other places, two of which we made appointments with and were no call/no shows (do people not want to make money????), we finally came across Nicholson Mechanical Contractors on the 30th of June 2023. Not only did the operator Sara Waite help us super fast, she was also extremely friendly and understanding of how quickly we needed service as it was over 90 degrees inside our house. This phone call took place around 12pm and our appointment was scheduled for 3pm the same day. Our technician James Edmonds was right on time and took care of our problem within an hour. Not only are we extremely grateful, especially our dog Sasha, but we couldn't recommend Nicholson Mechanical Contractors enough. Both Sara and James are exemplary employees and represent your company and the community in a great way. If I have any regrets it's that I didn't contact NMC first! Less

Fast, friendly quality service. Jerry went above and beyond what was expected of him. While repairing my Air Conditioning unit he checked my filter (that was in the crawl space). He recommended that I change my filter. He waited outside in a Heat Advisory for me to go get one so he could change it while he was at my home to save me from having to crawl under my house and do it myself. He also charged me for the EXACT amount of freon that he used. I would highly recommend this company...and especially Jerry. Thank you!! Less
