System is very reliable. The control panel is a little touchy. Sometimes you need to punch in the code numbers a number of times to deactivate the system.

We’re currently traveling internationally, and at 9:40 PM I got a call from Youngs that our window alarm was activated. The burglar pushed hard enough on the window to trigger the alarm, and when they couldn’t get in that way, they kicked in a basement window instead and got inside.From what we can tell, the alarm went off immediately, they heard it, and turned right back around and left the way they came. Nothing was taken.Police arrived quickly, and Youngs stayed in communication with us the entire time, providing updates and making sure everything was handled.I won’t even be able to assess the window damage for a couple more days, but honestly that feels secondary. The peace of mind knowing our home is secure and everything inside is still there is invaluable.We’re already planning to upgrade our system further with basement window bars, and I’m incredibly grateful we had this system in place.If you’re on the fence about a security system, don’t be. And if you’re choosing a company, go with one that treats your home like it’s their own.
