DOG OPS

George and Adam of Dog Ops did an exceptional job working with my wife and me on training our newest addition, Lulu. She is an American Staffordshire Terrier full of energy and personality, and we had recently adopted her from a previous owner who was no longer able to care for her. We were looking for training that went beyond basic commands and focused on meaningful structure, behavior, and quality of life—both for Lulu and for us, especially given that we live in an apartment and regularly encounter other dogs and people. One of the first things that stood out was that both George and Adam are veterans with experience working with military dogs. Their depth of knowledge goes far beyond standard obedience training; they clearly understand canine psychology and how to bring out the best in each dog. We ultimately chose the four-week board and train program, which proved to be an outstanding value considering the level of professionalism, communication, and results delivered. From the beginning, their service was top-notch. George took the time on a Sunday to speak with us in detail, understand our goals, and explain their training options thoroughly. Both George and Adam also conducted an in-home meet and greet, which demonstrated their commitment to building trust and understanding each dog’s environment. They intentionally limit their training group to six to eight dogs at a time to ensure each one receives individualized attention, reinforcing that their focus is on quality outcomes rather than volume.During Lulu’s board and train, Adam personally picked her up, and throughout the program we received regular updates, including texts, photos, and videos showing her progress. At the end of the program, George returned Lulu and conducted a comprehensive one-on-one session with us to review what she had learned and to ensure we understood how to maintain and build upon her training. The program also included four additional private sessions, which further reinforced their commitment to long-term success.Another feature that sets them apart is their boarding service, which is exclusively available to dogs they have trained. We had a family cruise scheduled shortly after adopting Lulu, and knowing she could board in a structured environment with trainers she already trusted gave us tremendous peace of mind while also reinforcing her training.I highly recommend Dog Ops to anyone seeking professional, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated dog training. George and Adam’s expertise, communication, and genuine care made a lasting impact, and we are incredibly grateful for the work they put into helping Lulu—and us—build a better life together.
